Is there any Muay Thai or MMA in Doha.?

The subject says it all..... Is there anywhere here in Doha, where you can train MMA.?
As far as I been reading in this forum, there was some kind of training before, but so far I haven't been able to locate anything myself. (and most of the postes are to old to be valid anymore)
I'm not into "common" martial art such as taekwondo, aikido, karate etc., but specific Muay Thai or MMA - Mixed Martial Art (or just Brazilian Jiu-jitsu ).
If you have any kind of info regarding this subject, please feel free to inlighten me.
Thanx

Send me a PM to get the location.
We train Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays from 2000 till almost 2200 (LONG sessions sometimes) but you don't have to stay that long we just like to fight.
Here is a link to the last tech we recently covered (bicep crush )from guard.

Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?

Thanks... ...Just wanted to say a quick Thanks to Abu American. I just arrived in Doha a week ago and unfortunately, the vast amount of my co-workers are female. I asked around about MMA training and, as I somewhat expected, everyone was clueless.
Looking forward to joining your group as soon as I get my bearings. I just joined a regular gym yesterday (3000 QR for 6 months??? Ouch!) and I'm really just working on adjusting to life here.
I'll be in touch!!!

Cool beans and welcome to ...Cool beans and welcome to Qatar. If I can help in anything let me know.
As always we started with cardio and muscle fitness. After that we had a REALLY good session tonight with no gi fighting and covering transition from guard to arm bar (from below).
We also had a Mui Thai session covering knees, elbows and proper kicking technique.
Was a really full and action packed night!
You are most welcome!
Holla at me when you are ready.

Appologies folks.

Cool I have been ...Cool
I have been trying to keep up with posting our nightly activities on the self defense forum but some nights I come home and am simply beat.
Spires beats the stuffing out of me and I make the intention to heal up and type it all out and in the end I don't.
We might have capouera classes being held there too in the near future. We will see what happens. Spires has the inside info on that one.

Didn't make it did ...Didn't make it did I.
An friend phoned me to meet up for sheesha and last time [the first time ] we met we said we would go out some time so it was rude to say no.
Wednesday is looking good though, even if I just come to introduce myself.
Looking forward to it anyway.
Who knows, I may even get shut of my gut, again.
Call me Maninibat!

Muay Thai Training ...Ooooooh yeaaah...That's just great news that you guys train Muay Thai on a frequent basis. Can I find some footage of the gym on the net? I will arrive in Doha beginning of July again (going back and forth currently) and this time I really need a place to train as I will stay for the rest of the summer.

Rollin, rollin, rollin... ...I've been a regular there for a couple of months now I guess... the people have been great, the weight loss has been great and what I've been learning is... well... great!
If you are even remotely considering coming out, I invite you to do so... you will be more than pleased with the experience. There's definitely some great folks there and you can't beat the price of admission!!!
Just bring water and a sweat towel... you'll need both.

Here are directions (thanks to Spires). You need internet ...Go to www.dohamap.info/map
Usually the map already has major round-abouts (intersections) marked by plus signs. Find the TV round-about. Provided that you are driving away from the Corniche and towards Villagio on the main road (it is Al Waab St, I think), you go straight through the TV round-about, reach the next round-about (it is unmarked), and take the right exit. Then you take the 4th right turn (it is the last right turn before reaching Markhiya r/about). Then you take the first left turn, go all the way to the end, take right turn on T-intersection. You pass the first and second left turns, and on your left you should find the school.
I'm planning to go there tomorrow, will let people know if I got something wrong.
