IS BELLY DANCING BANNED?

I'm moving to Doha from the UK where i am learning how to bellydance. IS this banned in Doha? I heard that you cannot watch it hotels, but can you learn it and if so where?
PLease Please HElp!!!

belly dancing... ...i dont know about belly dancing.. but as far as i have seen, everyone in doha seems to have a big belly.. dont know if its beer or food.. all are potential belly dancers..!!

they do teach belly ...they do teach belly dancing here as a few of my friends took it up wait lemme check where abts.........getback to ya on this one

yes they do teach belly dancing here in Doha.. ...Some people have private classes or group lessons..its just not allowed as a public display, I believe.

[AT]beans, yes you CAN .../-a-t-/beans, yes you CAN learn belly dancing in Doha. There used to be a class at the Marriott for example.
