Dubai would ...an exciting place to live. But I can't say the same about Shell. I worked for them for more than ten years before parting my way. How good is Shell? greatly depends on your boss. Here are my experiences
Pros: Good paymaster, Good perks, they will train you a lot and if you are an a*#/-a-t-/hole and act like one, than plenty of growth.
Cons: Highly beaurocratic, Work life balance= zero( your work will be your life) very demanding. Normally very flat hierarchy, less chances of overtaking old-timers for a promotion.
By the way, which job group are they offering? JG 4 and above would be nice though.

grade 2 ...The headhunter indicated that it is a grade 2. Evidently the VP is looking to retire in 12-18months and I would be the candidate for that job depending on how I progress within the culture. Of course, there are no guarantees...
