Cost of Cars

Hi All,

I will be moving from Australia to Qatar on January 23rd and am wondering what the cost of cars from the cheapest to the expensive end.

My firm is giving me 2,000 QRiyals per month as an allowance for a car and would like to know what i could get for that?

Also, i hope to be able to meet new friends when im over there and am wondering is there a social group etc?

I look forward to the move and thankyou in advance for any responses.

The transport allowance is normally given in order that you are able to purchase a car. On QR2,000 you should be able to purchase a very reasonable car.
i.e over 3 years = 2,000 X 3 X 12 = QR72,000.
Don't forget to allow for insurance.
