Blogging Qatar...
Qatar is a fantastic place with lots of fascinating and interesting voices. We want to promote those voices and help people find them. Below you'll find a list of blogs from Qatar for you to explore...
(if you have a blog and are from Qatar, live in Qatar or blog about Qatar then please scroll to the buttom of the page to find out how you can add this list to your own website and also get listed on it!)
What is a blog?
A weblog, which is usually shortened to blog, is a type of website where entries are made (such as in a journal or diary), displayed in a reverse chronological order.
Blogs often provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. Most blogs are primarily textual although many focus on photograph (photoblog), videos (vlog), or audio (podcasting).
The word blog can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Calling all bloggers from Qatar!
By qatari on Mon, 05/06/2006 - 11:21pm
Do you have a blog about Qatar or are you writing one from Qatar? If so, please drop a note here (select Qatar Blogs from the drop down) - I want to update the links page and also want to start a small project to link all the bloggers from Qatar together. I think it would be cool if we had a list that we could stick in our sidebars of the "Qatar Blogosphere". I'd also be keen to aggregate blogs from Qatar to help people find interesting stories...
I'm seeing a lot of cool blogging coming out of Qatar so it's about time we started linking to each other so we can promote blogging in Qatar and find interesting voices!
P.S. If you do have a blog, please spread the word and post a link to this page (http://www.qatarliving.com/qatarblogsproject) so we can get as many bloggers on board as possible. Shukran :)
If you have a blog please copy and paste the code below into the sidebar of your blog and use the contact form to let me know your URL so I can add it.QT Qs and Forums
