Johnny Rockets is an international restaurant chain that offers ‘good old’ American hamburgers, sandwiches and hand-dipped shakes.

Out on a Friday morning for good breakfast, I was at Johnny Rockets restaurant in Al Sadd and had chocolate shake, iced tea, omelette and Rocket Single. The chocolate shake comes in a big glass and extra shake was given to us in a steel can. The chocolate shake tasted wonderful. It has a rich chocolate/milky taste and yet not so sweet that it chokes your throat.

The omelette was soft and moist, and came with potatoes and sausages that were delicious too as they were neither too hard nor soft.

The Rocket Single is a single layer hamburger and it certainly lived up to its name of being a ‘good old American burger’ as the beef is tender and juicy, you will finish the entire burger in few bites.

Food at Johnny Rockets comes in big American portions so the restaurant is good for family and friends to eat together.

Although I enjoyed my hearty breakfast, I wished it came at a lesser cost. The bill for the meal was a pricey QR 100.

Johnny Rockets burns my Pocket!

Standard Johnny Rockets fare--decent burgers. I don't like how they bring your fries 10 minutes ahead of your burgers, but overall, good Americana here.

Food is average, but service is very sub standard, especially for the high prices charged. 1 Burger - QR 30, Fries - QR 18, Drink - QR 10....That's QR 58 for a single combo meal delivered by surly, unhappy looking waitresses. Hardees serves a better quality burger at half the price and with great smiles.

Drinks refills are free, but no one cares to come over and refill your drink. Getting the attention of the wait staff (even in a near empty room) is a difficult proposition.

I ordered their specialty Milkshake - QR 25 - but was curtly informed the icecream was bad and this item was unavailable.Not really worth going back .....

6 Lebanese went there together. All Agree.

* Overpriced
* Too greasy food
* Slow Service
* Wont go there again, even if starving
