I went to Opera at Land mark yesterday and I was very shocked by my experience.

I went with my friends to have lunch together but thanks to the bad service we didn't eat together.

To start, the service was indifferent, slow and lazy.

I ordered a canneloni which came COLD. i asked them to heat it and after 10 minutes it was nowhere! I got the attention of the manager and it finally came.

My friends lasange was a joke. There was a small dish of hot, salty cheese, with no bechemel, no tomato sauce and two thin "cigarette" layers of lasagne at the top and bottom.

The bathroom was REVOLTING - used tissues every where, unflushed toilet bowl and a strange smell ( eventhough there were cleaning products lying around.)

Positive point - they brought the bill quickly.

Very disappointing restaurant. 0/5 stars

Thanks and beware of Opera Landmark.

My husband and I ate here on December 13. The service was AWFUL! The staff all just stood around talking with each other. If we needed anything they took forever to bring it to us. I don't think they could possibly walk any slower.

Then entire area is covered with NO SMOKING signs. After we had ordered and gotten our drinks (which took eons) I smelled smoke. Two table away some guys were lighting up and smoking. They had a NO SMOKING sign over their heads that stated it was against the law to smoke there. My husband called the waitress over and pointed out that this was a no smoking area. She went over and asked them to not smoke. The jerk said "I know the rules" and kept puffing. Rather than doing anything about it, she walked over and told US to let him at least finish his cigarette like this was all our fault. We told her we would be moving. And we did.

I also ordered the cannelloni which came cold and dry. My husband ordered the Opera chicken which came super dry.

The staff did their best to completely ignore us after that. We kept signalling and saying excuse me. Finally my husband actually got up and brought his glass to them to be refilled.

It was a horrible experience all around. We will not be going back. Food was bad, service was bad, atmosphere was bad. This place should get NO stars.

As the previous two reviews have stated Opera cafe at Landmark is a terrible low class restaurant. All of the staff behave as if they want the place to fail and close down. I have been on two or three occasions and have been disappointing each time. The staff are actively non-attentive, and the food is always bad. It hurts me to concede but a 'fast food' out-let is a better option. Even the ice-cream at Opera is of a poor quality.

The only reason I have given one star if because it is a requirement to place the review on the site.
No stars from me.

I & SOME FRIENDS VISITED COFFEE SHOP LANDMARK LAST JANUARY 26,2010. ACTUALLY WE ARE GLAD THE WAY THIER WAITRESS SERVED US, UNLIKE BEFORE.. ITS A GOOD START THEY TRIED TO CHANGE.. THIER FOOD ARE MUCH BETTER NOW,, OPERA CAFE' IN LANDMARK IS A NICE PLACE TO DINE IN, AND THIER COMFORT ROOM IS MUCH OK.. NO ODORS AND SUCH...I TRIED TO VISIT ALSO THIER SHOPS IN KAHRAMAA,, THIER WAITRESSES ARE SMILING ,, ITS NICE TO SEE WAITRESS WHO SMILES WHEN THEY SERVE,, IT PAMPERS OUR DAY... HOPE OPERA CAFE' COFFEE SHOP LANDMARK AND OTHERS WILL KEEP UP THIER GOOD WORK..
