We eat there once a week.
Beef with Green Chilis will light you up, very spicy.
Sizzlin Chicken is great.
Sweet and Sour Chicken is not what we are use to, so dont be surprised if you order.
Spring rolls best I have ever had.
Have not had a bad meal there yet.
Noodles not the best, but the fried rice is.
Good atmosphere, but service sometimes slow.
Very reasonably priced.

Been there a few times. Good selection on the menu and prices very good. Portions are ample. Pity that there is no sweet and sour pork though. :(

One of the oldest and most under-rated restaurants in Doha...I really like it, I think they would do much better if they made some interior design renovations

Been there lot's of times. Truly chinese cooking and prices are very reasonable. Service is excellent for such a place. almost all the food we ordered: peking duck, fried chicken, mixed noodles, spicy tofu, sweet and sour beef or fish, shrimp tempura(?) were all good.

Excellent food, although I missed some chinese specialities on the menu. Prices are very moderate, but the restuarant itself needs a real interior design face lift and a functioning ventilation system. Didn't spoil the fun though and gave a realistic impression of dining in Beijing.

very modest look inside out, not 5 stars hotel food, but not bad at all, some dishes are really good, very generous portions, and very modest prices(best value 4 money), if u like Chinese food and u r not looking for fancy atmosphere, you will not be disappointed

It's a good place for Chinese food. The food is good, staff are friendly and the price is reasonable. The interior is not that Wow but you can see smiling faces around you while having your meal. What else can you ask for!

Food is good.
Price is reasonable.
Service is impressive.
The restaurant facade and interior looks a bit old, I wish they will refurbish!
Overall, not bad. I will not hesitate to come back with my family.

The ambience there is BAD!I got totally turned off after going there first time.I guess couldn't even enjoy the meal.Dreaded going there again(it's been two years now)......lol

How can the food be enjoyed in such a dark and old place(looks like an old Qatari cottage from the 60's!).
Maybe bringing packed food and enjoying it at home or some park would be a better option.

FOOD
Despite the name of the restaurant, all you can find in the menu are your typical Southern China "Canton / Hong Kong" style Chinese food - minus the Canton/HKG taste.

I must admit that I've had better Chinese food, even the Chinese restaurant (e.g. "Hong Kong Restaurant") in Bahrain is 100x better! (... then again, I've also tasted worst, in Egypt..)...

We ordered:
"Seafood and bean curb served in clay pot" - but it wasn't served in clay pot; bean curb was a bit dry; and we were unsure what seafood were served... also, it looks like the whole dish was mash together...

"Hot & Sour soup" - it lacked flavour, but luckily there was a bottle of soy sauce on our table...

"Chicken & Corn soup" - it was nice and no problems there

"Vegetable beans and garlic" - has a taste to it, despite being a bit bland...

SERVICE
The waiters are attentive, so no worries there

DECOR
The inside is a bit outdated, and reminds me of my visit to the remote parts of China, but hey, at least it's authentic!

PRICE
On the plus side, the price is reasonable and affordable.

i went there last night with my friends and i was somewhat satisifed customer. the vegetable rice and the manchurian beef were good. I didnt like the fried chicken dumplings. i wish they had the soy sauce with lemon and hot chili. the hot chili they served was a bit dry. the banana fritter with vanilla ice cream is okay. service was super slow and we have to remind the staff everytime of our order

Very good, spring rolls best in town, it has been mentioned before decor a bit dated, however never had a problem with stomach RE:hygene etc. Price best in town, Visited the same chain Beijing in Bahrain recently and nowhere as good as the one in Qatar, although you can have a beer at the bahrain venue.

Very dissapointing quality of food. You get a reasonable quantity but do not taste good. Most of the dishes that I have tried is not up to mark. If you guys would like to try a good chinese food, of all the restraurants that I have tried, i would recommend chopstick, Holiday Villa(Malaysian Rest)
