Good restaurant with loads of seats.
The food tastes good too.
But the real prob is that there is a chronic shortage of parking nowadays

Though it says (Vasantha Bhavan), does not have that taste, but still, i have rated well, cos something is better than nothing.

One of the best Vegetarian Restaurant in Gulf. I was regular customer for Aryas in Dubai/Sharjah. Aryas in Dubai is very perfect with the quality of service, food and pricing. When I came to qatar I tried aryas in Al meera with same expectation, but I was totlly disappointed on the service and quality of Foo. Then I tried Vasanth Bhavan (Bharath)....

Man it is really awesome.. the specialities which they provide every day is too good... Service, varities, pricing, quality & taste of food, everything is top class.

Problem with Vasanth Bhavan is its parking, there is no enough space near to restaurant. Management has arranged a space with a security gaurd especially for vasanth bhavan customer, which is little far away an most people are not aware of it. Management has not taken any intiatives to announce the parking availablity also.

In my view, best managed vegetarian rstaurant in Gulf.

But my search for a restaurant like Gazeebo (Dubai) in Qatar is still going on...... :)

Keep QR-500 for no parking fine, along with the restaurant bill then go there, as there is a big parking problem

New Bharath restaurant near Jaidah flyover has got lots of parking space and food is also good and affordaqble. VADA is their speciality.

Bharath... The best for South Indian Delicacies...have been umpteen times and wouldnt mind going there again nd again... Even the Punjabi dishes for a change..tasted like punjabi dishes (and that too in south indian hotel...)just pray that they keep the good work on as generally hotels tend to loose out on quality nd quantity when people start frequenting.,... VB surely looses out a point in the parking arena..NO PARKING AVAILABLE..should be put up in their take away pamplets...

This place is ok. I ordered the brinjal masala, even though it's a South Indian place, but hey I didn't feel like having a dosa. The brinjal was ok -not amazing, not bad, just pretty ok. The waiter had as much charm as Lurch from the Addams Family, but he brought my food and check promptly. They've got a booth with mithai so you can gorge on sugar as you leave. I can't compare it to Aarya's, but I think the food tasted better than Sukh Sagar.

There's plenty of parking, just around the corner, but not in front of the restaurant.

I'd eat here again, and bring some friends.

Worst north indian food, OK limited to Idli and Dosh, nothing more.
if they want to serve "Indian" food, they must must know how to prepare north indian food.
If you ask for tandoor roti, they will suggest you malabari chhapaati (which is already prepared and kept in bunch), I think they dont have north indian cook. the same case is with Swagat in Najma.
It takes ver very long time even for small orders .
Nothing more to write.
I would highly recommand "SUKH SAGAR" at Doha or "THE GARDEN" at Al khor.

Taste is good. Price is also ok. Problem is the parking only.
