Featuring authentic Italian cuisine, Bice at The Pearl-Qatar is part of the Bice Group which was established in 1926 when its founder Beatrice "Bice" Ruggeri opened her first trattoria in Milan. The Bice Group currently operates a network of 18 ubiquitous bistros globally. Today, her son Roberto Ruggeri is already well on his way to extending Bice's vision and unique passion for food across the world, having already established Bice as one of the most recognised global brands in Italian cuisine. The traditional trattoria-style haute dining experience at Bice has over the decades evolved masterfully under Roberto's guidance, with the interiors of each restaurant having turned markedly urbane, however with the service remaining traditionally homely, exactly as Bice Ruggeri envisioned it.

The location of the first Bice in Qatar is therefore almost poetic. The Pearl-Qatar, just outside the city of Doha and with absolutely stunning views of the capital city's arching skyline, is an Arabian take on life in a Riviera and will be home to the country's most fabulously eclectic homes and playground to its movers and shakers.

The Bice Group strives to perpetuate this passion for food by embedding staff familiar to the Bice philosophy in the fabric of each new restaurant. Bice at The Pearl-Qatar will have experienced staff supervising its major functions. These include Mr. Fiorentino Conte, Restaurant Manager of Bice at The Pearl-Qatar and Mr. Marcello Rivetti, Executive Corporate Chef at Bice International, as well as the senior kitchen staff supporting Chef Rivetti. Mr. Bernardo Nolfo, Director of Operations at Bice International was also in Qatar to oversee the establishment of Bice at The Pearl-Qatar and attended the launch ceremony.

The restaurant's staff are always trained to meet the requirements of the local populace and will also include some Arabic-speaking service staff trained to take diners through each dish, their constituents and preparation.

Bice at The Pearl-Qatar is one of the first major hospitality brands to launch operations at The Pearl-Qatar and is also one of the first high-profile additions to the growing lifestyle portfolio of Consult Overseas.
