Very dissapointed. The pizza didnt have enough meat on it to keep a fly alive for long, not enough sauce, and was too expensive. We were really hoping for a better experience but wont go back.

Proper Italian food, prepared by Italian chefs, headed by Gigi, a true Italian. The Pizza is great for those who love a thin crust with just enough sauce to be perfect (and not squishy or moist like the usual Pizza Hut stuff).

Noisy, busy seating area on ground floor, with the huge Pizza oven and the Pizzaiolo tossing the dough and flirting with everyone in sight. Family area on 1st floor.

Many italians, local football players, and Sheikhs come regularly and enjoy the atmosphere.

Pizza take away available, no delivery. Tasty starters, Yummy deserts, and the typical italian choice of Pasta, Salads and Mains

Prices are slightly higher than at other Pizza-Fastfood-Places, but since it's not a Pizza Fast-Foodfood-Place, it's well worth the extra few QR.

Some nights you need to wait for a table, with finding parking closeby being the bigger hassle.

I think the location misleads people about what kind of restaurant this is... I know I was a little surprised to find that Lo Spaghetto is a little more "uptown" (including the prices!) than it seems on the outside.

However, good service & real Italian food made by Italian chefs who recommend their specialties in a charming accent made it an interesting experience. ;>

Very nice trattoria in the middle of Doha. Good menu with both lots of variety and great classic Italian dishes. I'd say the prices are comparable to Rome which seems a bit high for Qatar. The owner and his wife are absolutely darling and the waitstaff is completely hopeless when they can even be found. But my friend who had been there said that the lack of service was a one-off in her experience. The pizzas are great and it's fun watching them being made. The mozzarella and tomato salad is wonderful. I definitely would go back.

We went to La Spaghetto as a group of 8, and tho' we'd phoned ahead to make reservations, the tables were not prepared, nor were they even aware of it upstairs. It was a weekend and the small area downstairs was full.

Service was slow and tho' the upstairs was quite empty, we did not feel any quality attention from the wait staff.

Some of the orders did not come as requested, and when we complained to the owners sitting downstairs, they simply laughed it off saying ' but the food was good right'? Hardly the way to build long term custom!

For that reason alone, I'd be reluctant to return there, as well as for the poor quality service we received.
Prices are not cheap and we averaged QR 100 per head, which is quite high for a pizza and pasta street joint.
Taste of food was actually quite good, if you can bear the attitude!

The pizza is delicious! But the food, OMG, not that "Italian". I ordered ravioli, and hey, the food was almost empty. And they charge so much!! My husband's plate, wasnt good at all.

Ok, good pizza, not that good food, kindda expensive, and the location sucks big time bec we had issues with the parking!

The food is ok. The service is ok. However, I feel like they are very stingy... There were only 3 small slices of ham and 2 small pieces of artichoke on my pizza and it was hard to get the taste of cheese. Also, the size of the pizza was smaller than what it should be.
Bruschetta was too small(1/3 of a carrefour toast bread size) that I've never seen such bruschetta before... Also, they are charging for service fee but no bread, parmesan or anything is coming before the order... We go to KFC after the dinner(In itally, I usually cannot finish my pizza...). And it was very expensive compared to what they serve. So, can be tried but not recommended...

Superb Italian restaurant - a great find in Doha. Food quality compares with anything in Italy. Reasonable value for money - not cheap but the quality is worth it. Staff very pleasant, if sometimes overwhelmed by the volume of customers. It is ALWAYS busy - but we have never had a problem with booking for a large group or special occasion. Pizzas are the real deal - thin crust, not too much sauce, just enough topping for the right flavour.

A fantastic restaurant with a typical Italian taste, great atmosphere, and a personalized service from the boss himself, GG. I have lived in Italy for more than 10 years and can claim that the food in this restaurant tastes exactly like a typical Italian restaurant downtown Roma ! very tasty, well cooked and I recommend it to anyone who understands the real Italian taste.
The restaurant is usually fully booked and finding a seat can sometimes be difficult. The prices are reasonable considering that you get food cooked by real Italians, not cheap labour. Keep up the great Italian taste and thank you GG.

We went to this restaurant on the basis of some of the reviews here but were very disappointed by the below average (and overpriced) food, appallingly poor service (waiters who were overworked and rude), and obnoxious 'management' who seemed personally offended that any one had the guts to complain.

Don't waste your money at Lo Spaghetto, there are far better restaurants now in Doha where you get good food and much better service for less money.

Before coming to live in Qatar, I used to live in Italy for 10 years, it is the only place in Qatar where I can feel and taste what I used to taste and feel in Italy.
Try it, but ask always the opinion of the owner GIGI, he is a good and honest person, he will guide you well.

Its a brilliant restaurant, honest & original Italian cuisine. Aimed only at those with exceptional taste for raw ingredients within their meal, and those who are willing to pay an extra fee knowing that they are eating fresh pasta made next door daily.

ready tomato paste is not an ingredient of their pasta, but its actual tomatoes that are prepared, cooked and served for your taste buds to enjoy and appreciate.

Negative points: Their famous Angus beef is not always available on their menu, so if that is what attracts you the first time around, it might not be there when you come back for more.
