They have some really good macaroni n pasta there, the seafood is really good as well, Even the deserts are really good especially the Tiramisu..

Its definitely a must try restaurant. Prices are average not too expensive and excellent service as well..

i m a development chef with more 20 yrs exprience in food
the food was fantastic but the service worse...
i have to wait more then 15 minute to get the waiter to attn...they just stand like a dead wood...have to go to them and asked "can you take the order for me"

I saw a chef wipe his nose then on his clothes, wasn't looking forward to the food after watching his behavior, but that was awhile ago so maybe its gotten better.

the service is below standard... way below standard..
3 waiters approached me in the same time, and argued with each other in front of me and at the end, they forgot my order.... and when they finally brought it (after reminding them 3 times), they brought it wrong... and so on

i visited the place once when it was still new. the service then was great. even the food was very good! the price was not easy on the budget.
but if the service got bad i definitely won't go back!

I had the best steak in Doha at this restaurant. Perhaps it was the chef again wiping the nose and sneezing on my plate as reported by EVE in another preview. Yuck, here goes another restaurant I would never step-in my feet again.

Not just because of hygiene issues reported but service was dead slow. The waiter wrote his name upsidedown with 4 coloured crayons on white paper sheet spread on table. That was the only attention he gave to us. A request of glass of water at room temperature was serviced with soda at room temperature after 15 minutes. Yes waiters are good looking but also brain dead and no not all of them speaks or understand proper English.
Not everyone is in pretty boys and one goes to a restaurant to eat .So start serving properly unsneezed food.

The first time I went I was not impressed with the food and they had a man singing there who sang so loud it made the dining experience unpleasant.

However, the 2nd and 3rd time I went I ordered chicken florentine salad and it is "to die for". It is not a place to go for elegant dining but for a quick meal with inexpensive decor and furnishings, it is ok.

We have eaten there about 10 times and it has been good every time. The meatballs are fantastic and the spagetti sauces are good. We have never had a problem with the wait staff. All have been prompt and friendly. It is our favorite Italian place in Doha. Prices are fair and portions are generous.

My husband was great fan of Macaroni Grill in the states that's why when we saw that there is one opening here in Doha, he was excited. We came to the place when it was not yet opened and had the chance to talk to their blonde girl manager. She told us that before their normal operation they will have 1 day of free food for people who wanna try Macaroni grill for the first time. She even told us to invite our friends and family on a specific date. And we invited all our friends to come there on the same time and when we arrived there the resto was close! What a joke! How could she do things like that? I don't think she is professional enough to be a manager. I guess that's why all his staff are like that because the manager is the same!

I enjoyed Macaroni Grill. They have always offered a good selection of italian cuisine and service has always been on point. It is a little expensive, but then it is Doha... everything is crazy expensive in this city.

very deceptive looks,the food is lower then any expectations, service is awful, very very low value for money, do not even try it

a great restaurant!!!! price is quantity wise. accomodating waiters. recommended to all. our last dine was 11 feb 2010. come & enjoy....

The pasta is not bad, but the waiter asked us about our orders 3 times and after that still got the wrong order and asked us if thats okay because she didn't want the manger to yell at her !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The food delivered to my table was of a good quality. The service was no better or worse than other resteraunts in this catagory in this region.

Food = Good
Service = Average
