Description:
Elegant steak house in Ramada Hotel, Doha. Excellent setting - large leather arm chairs, very comfortable. Good service - attentive but not overbearing. Fillet steak - quite simply the best I've EVER eaten. Highly recommended. Price range - QR500 per head. |

If the price mentioned is correct, that's quite expensive. If you want good steak at a price cheaper than that, swing by Megamart at The Centre which is just around the corner from Ramada. You can get there some of the best steak cuts in Qatar that are U.S. prime Angus beef that are really "melt in your mouth" meat even if it is cooked well done. And you can enjoy the aroma of your BBQ when you cook it at home. Don't forget your side dishes!!! Enjoy!!! |

Went there with the Mrs last night for a "treat" (29/12/2009) Heard all about how the steak was etc and yes the fillet steak was very good, along with one floret of cauliflower one mange tout and what could only be described as a very poor bubble and squeak in the form of a thick donught all for the princly sum of 200QAR per steak. I was tempted by the tomato broth for the first repast and this came in the form of 2 baby tomatos in dish-water, bloody rip off. So after having my wallet lightened by the best part of 800QAR i am inclined to agree with the previous posts, get yourself down megamart and by a couple of decent steaks. This was a real shame as the decor ambience and service was good, i was also reminded by phone two hours before the table booking that the dress code is smart casual, there i was thinking i could rock up in shorts and a muscle vest!!! |
