This is a South African franchise - not British.

Eaten there once [for my wife's birthday last year] and will NEVER set foot in the place again. Apart from it being expensive we had a very bad experience. My wife ate the roast lamb and ended up in hospital with food poisoning the next day! Need I say any more. :(

Cannot rate zero stars so the 1 star is the lowest it can get.

For:
Service - pretty good compared to most restaurants in Doha.
Location.

Against:
Overpriced.
Quality - a far cry from the original South African restaurants.

Took a friend from switzerland who stop over in Qatar. I ordered salmon sandwich. Portion was generous, cant finish on my own. Price wise just average.

Service not bad.

Never tried their steak yet , so cant comment on that. But will defenitely go back sometimes in the future.

So far, the juciest taste i had in Doha.
I ordered the Chicken Livers for starters which was full of taste and rich with flavor & then went for the marbeled Wagyu Rib Eye Rare which also was grilled to perfection!
I really recommend this place for people looking for The cheapest High Quality steak in Doha!

I had heard raves about this place but was very disappointed. The stake smelled and tasted bad. Chicken pie was awful too. Wouldn't go there again.

Treat your self with the sensational steaks they serve. They will let you choose the size and cut of your own steak. As well as steaks they also serve a wide selection of seafood, burgers and other top quality grills. and as a South African restaurant, they also serve some traditional meats. I ordered for a prime rip dipped in BBQ sauce. For appetizer I had one of the testiest and most delicious Prawns I've ever had. Many thanks to Wilson, a man with a great hospitality. It is one of the best places for steak in Doha. Totally recommend it.

the most juiciest eperience among restaurants in DOHA.
lots selection of mouth watering starters, green salads and EXCELLENT choices of aged chilled meat.

I love eating my favorite surf and turf, marblelized WAGYU SIRLOIN with my sweet lemon iced tea drink at its reasonable price.

service was fantastic.

Never even got to taste their steak as we never got attended to for more than 10mts.. Not a South African attitude at all...:-(

I dont know where the bad reviews are coming from. I have eaten there 3 times in the last 3 months. I have never had a bad experience and although I only get burgers because in my opinion they have the best burgers in Doha by far. You have to be specific in your ordering on how you want your meat cooked, so if you are not a meat eater then and dont know how to explain how you want your meat then it might come somewhat uncooked (rare), alot of people like it like that.

recommended for all
try also shrimp starter with the lovely sour cream sauce topped with golden roasted crumbs

Excellent steak place. Although be careful as to how much you want your meat cooked. I ordered medium and I think I actually got medium rare. Blood was oozing out of the steak. Not very appetizing for the weak of heart I'm sure.
