Moon Palace is a popular Japanese/Korean restaurant that has been around for some time. I am sure many would agree that it is one of the best places to go for the occassional (because prices ain't cheap and its recession time) indulgence in Japanese/Korean food in Doha.

The set of mini appetisers didn't look appetising and true enough, they didn't taste good. Since they were free, I guess I will just make do with it.

The Emperor Hotpot Set is a value-for-money dish for two persons. It comes with a variety of ingredients such as fish, prawn, crab, squid, beancurd, vegetables and udon in a little spicy soup base. It would really taste much better if the seafood was fresher and beancurd softer. The most disappointing in the hotpot was the udon, as it lack 'bounciness' that is an important factor for noodles. I got a little surprise when I found a piece of plastic in the soup base! The waiter was apologetic and said it was an oversight of the kitchen staff.

The Bi Bim Bab is a popular Korean hotpot dish that comes with rice, mixture of vegetables and raw egg. It tasted ok, except that the rice was a little too dry which made it hard to swallow.

I have visited Moon Palace over the years and would say it is still one of the best Japanese/Korean restaurant in Doha. However, I cannot help but notice the significant drop in the quality of food in recent times and wish they could buck up and serve good food like it used to be.

it is a pretty good resturant, it is a bit expensive yes, I will give it 3 stars as well.
I was yesterday at Korean gardens and Had the (Bou Gou Ki)(beef Ribs) amaaaaazing meal, the problem with that resturant that it does not have a proper parking only unlike the Korean Gardesn

I've been going to Moon Palace since ages. Very friendly waiters from Nepal. The appetizers are yummy, and love their Futo Maki ..!!

I like their food. It tasted good. But to my surprise I found that their chicken BBQ has better taste than their beef BBQ.

I love Korean BBQ.

The waiters were soooo nice. They were very thoughtful and served us with politeness and smiles.

It is by far one of the worst restaurant i have ever been to in doha.

the first problem is, yes, the PRICE (value) of the food, it is too much for what you get in the end,

second is the food itself, when my family went there for one of the breakfasts back at the holy month of ramadan we had decided to eat some Korean food to break our fast, we thought why not try it out?

i can't remember what we had to ate but it was made in the hot pot in the middle of the table, the food that was cooked by one of the retarded waiters and it was either raw or burnt. the next day me and my whole family was got sick, because i was so sick i was unable to do one of my finals, and thus missed one of my important exams.

the third problem is that when i went with one of my friends who is a world class celebrity, for Al jazeera. i found a staple in my tempura... yes A MOTHER [Mod Removed] STAPLE IN THE TEMPURA. I SHOUTED AT THE [Mod Removed] REETARD WAITER AND TOLD HIM THAT I HAD ENOUGH!!!!

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT WOULD OF HAPPENDED IF I HAD EATER A STAPLE??!! AND IT WAS OPEN. IT WOULD PIERSED MY STOMACH.... [Mod Removed] HELLLLL I HATE THAT [Mod Removed]TTT HOLE...

DON'T THINK ABOUT GOING TO THAT [Mod Removed]N DUMP!

This restaurant taste is 5 star for us.

I had 1 bentou teisyou and sashimi teishoku..

the taste is far more better than marriot.. with the price tag of half or far more cheaper that there.

The Thai Chef preparing the food was good, the restaurant is very clean, the staffs are friendly and good.

Fully recommending to all who love japanese, korean and chinese taste.

Very nice restaurant. I will go again and again!!

I love his resto by far. I had 1 bento box which was too much for me. The appetizer was also delicious. Too many to choose from.

The restaurant is very clean and the staffs were very friendly and warm.

Highly recommended.
