Price wise slightly higher than thai snack. The restaurant opened since 1999 and used to located at Al Mirqab street and only recently relocated to presents location. Famous among thai community ... they cater for party. If you going there make sure to try out their famous dish 'Thai Fish Cakes'. Service wise better than Thai Snack. |

I love the Seafood fried noodles and vegetables stir fried. Bit expensive, in the sense that, the serving size is very little, not enough for a person, should order double. |

Excellent service.I always get the sweet and sour chicken, which is the best I've had anywhere. Very fresh ingredients. My husband loves the green chicken curry. Nice atmosphere, too. |

Good serving, excellent decor, and choices of food. Only bit too expensive for such a small amount of food. |

Far East Restaurant located at Markhiya is a small restaurant with cosy ambience offering mainly Thai and Chinese food. I was attracted into the restaurant by the sight of a large group of Koreans who seemed to be enjoying their Sukiyaki (hotpot) dinner. For starter, we tried fishcakes that was a rare find in Doha. It was served hot and tasty. Personally I would prefer a little less oil on the fishcakes for the sake of being health conscious.
The main course was Chinese mixed fried rice, two special Thai noodles and a chicken dish called "Doha Chicken".
I was a little disappointed with the Doha Chicken dish as I thought it was something special because of the name. It is just chicken served on a hotplate. I prefer the fried rice and noodles. They were simple food but they simply tasted good. The Thai waiters provided friendly service. I like it when they gave me a pen and paper to draw the location for which I would like to order delivery. Serves me the hassle of explaining of where I live which is not easy in Doha! Overall, it was a good dinner experience at Far East Restaurant and we will definitely go back for more. |

The best restaurant in Doha, good value for money and the service is great. You should go for Tom Yum soup, seafood spring rolls, seafood tri-taste and noodles. Average cost is QAR150 for two. |
