It is a classy resturant if you like to enjoy the evening with your wife, Prices are acceptable, but the amount of food they serve is very small "testers ;) "
let me put it this way.
I ordered
6 dishes, Deserts, Whine, Green Tea...
the bill was 400+ ====> so its 130 Each.
that will be your budget if you go there

the only thing that pissed me off, that the name of the restaurant was not written in Thai Language :D

the food quality is OK, dont expect much you are not like Bangkok

I wouldn't mind coming back again. The atmosphere is classy without being overbearing. Loved the food though served in small servings. Rice is served as a complimentary and that really won me over :) being such an avid rice eater myself. My favorite is the chicken in pandan leaf & beef tenderloin with noodles. I liked the restaurant very spacious and you can even watch while they prepare your food!

Isaan is one of my Favourites here in Doha. I love the fact that everything is made to your taste ... if you like it spicy they will put extra chillis in your dishes. If you dont like it spicy they will leave them out! I love the Chicken with Oyster Sauce. The grilled Prawns are also recommended ... they are large and very very tasty. We always have our 2 1/2 year old with us and the only slight downside are the prices of the kids food .... the dishes are certainly nice but overpriced!!!
If you go for the very first time, try their Set Menu ...!!

We were delighted with the quality and authenticity of the green beef curry, and red duck curry - each cooked in clay pots over live coals.  The papaya salad is a marvel.  Doha is a place of culinary excellence - and it is wonderful when a restaurant exceeds one's expectations.  We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for three days and the food, atmosphere and service were so good we ate here twice ! We vouch for the green curry, red curry and papaya salad - but other dishes may sometimes be disappointing if you have super high expectations.

We watched the papaya salad being made in a mortar and pestle  - and the complex taste exceeded our expectations.   It is recommended that each person order 3 dishes - but start with two - as this may suffice, depending what you order.  Be sure to order the green curry and papaya salad.  Steaming slightly glutinous rice is served steaming from baskets by smiling staff.

The staff is pleasant, and thoughtful.  On one occasion I forgot my reading glasses and could not read the menu - like magic the staff brought a box of reading glasses in various prescriptions.  On another occasion the staff brought us a complementary dish that will feature on the new menu !

This  is a great Thai restaurant that serves authentic regional cuisine of NE Thailand.  We plan to return again, and again.
