This is the first place that my friend took me to when I arrived in Doha - I now make it a custom to take everyone who visits here first! The food is fantastic - grills, shwarmas and a wonderful selection of salads. Prices are very good. Be warned - the place is usually very busy for both take out and eat in! |

The best in Doha, food freshly cooked, nice attentive staff and the salads are to die for. If we have a BBQ, we get the uncooked Lamb Chops and Chicken from them. Best food in Doha. We got there often and I always come away thinking this is the best food I have eaten anywhere in the world. |

The BBQ chicken is superb, as is the lamb - not too salty, very tasty. Breads and salads very nice. Prices reasonable. The last time we ordered for 7 persons (6 of whom were big eaters), cost us only QR200 and quite a lot of leftovers too. I'd go more often, except that the queue / waiting time is horrendous! |

Try the mix grill, mix salad, mutton chops, bukhari rice + BBQ chicken combos..everything is nice and really affordable..i prefer take away because the place is crowded most of the time, but you have to order well in advance.. one possible negative is the staff do not speak english that well..but this is a problem only if you are ordering over the phone..otherwise you can point out itms in the menu.. |

Te food is simply amazzzzzzzzzzzzing. and true value for your moeny as it is very reasonably priced. HOWEVER, the cleaning and appearance sucks. The ambiance needs to be improved a lot. The waiters are not friendly and English is a problem. ALso, wait time is long, however its worth waiting for.Parking and getting a table is an issue especially on weekends. IF its official or formal dining, it is not a place to go. |

Don't expect silver service here, just great tasting, fresh meats and salads. The appearance of the place leaves a little to be desired, but the food more than makes up for this. Great value. Great food. Authentic experience. |

The food is awesome and it's dirt cheap. But, I can't give it five stars because the ambiance is a little rough. Whenever I go in, I see people from various nationalities, I think that says something positive for the restaurant. Certainly, not for romantic dinners, foreign visitors, etc. Great for a casual bite. |

Have been there once. Liked the starters. The food was not tasty as much as its original but it was OK. The main problem is cleanliness. They have to work so much on it. I think Qatar needs decent Turkish restaurants with better service and better ambiance. So people can really understand how tasty the Turkish cuisine is. Such place would be able to take only 3 stars in Turkey but here it deserves 4 stars. |

Having read the great reviews, we hoped to see for ourselves. On 23 April 09 we found Turkey Central closed with a "notice" on the door. The good news is that there is a similarly named business (Turkey Center) a few doors down and they were doing a big take-out business. Hope T-Central re-opens soon. |

food tastes good but the service makes it "not worth eating" the waiters are very arrogant, the place looks shabby, i even saw a cocroach crawling on the table and when we informed the waiter he casually crushed it with a tissue paper and carried on as usual, and later he was serving with same dirty hands, THAT'S WHY BALADIYA HAS LOCKED IT FOR NON COMPLIANCE. i would suggest marmara istamboli has equally good kebabs |

No, it isn't particularly clean (what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger?) but I've never gotten sick eating there, and I think they have the very best shish taouk in all of Doha. After Turkey Central, all other shish taouks taste dry and bland. We love their salads, and have become addicted to the vegetarian moussaka and chili salads. We like their lunch specials, especially the moussaka and various other dishes - we just point, we don't know all the names. Best of all - the bread, freshly baked, with toasted sesame seeds on it. You have to eat it fresh out of the oven, half an hour later it is hard, but oh, when it is fresh, it is sheer heaven. It doesn't take that many visits to become known, and then the service is personable and helpful. |

I used to go there, they did have ok food. But recently they were closed by the Department of Health for a long time due to the filth they have. I hope they are gone forever to teach all violators who put our health in jeopardy a good lesson. |

PLUS--My first dinner in Doha...and it was amazing. I ate with three other women and we had an appetizer salad and hummus, two pies (herb and cheese and herb), and a chichen Schwarma. It was more than enough food and we even had leftovers. Turkey Central is a great place to take visitors and new comers. It's a lovely, comfortable atmosphere need to be experienced by all who come to Doha. MINUS--You have to stay on top of the waiters. We had to tell them several times of our drink orders. Also they seemed a little to busy for us even though the dining-in area was not that full, Ramadan craziness maybe. |

Very good food. the grill is worth mentioning and you see many nationalities testing and trying the food there with many regular guys too.. the service sucks though, where you have to beg the waiters to get attention or give tip in advance for better service. they could improve the ambience too, though we expected this would be done during the last renovation. 3 out of 5 will do for the service and ambience and 4.5 for the food. |

Worst service I ve ever seen, yet cleaning of the desks also is another minus.. It is more arabic + turkish cuisine... Service does not depend on wheather you speak Turkish or Arabic or English or Suhaili... The guys they have their own schedule or idea about what to bring on late time... Sometimes drinks come even after you finish your food... Anyway for me it is one of the worse option... Not suggested... |

I just love this place, haven't eaten in, prefer take away, I enjoy waiting for my order to be cooked fresh, its busy and hot in there but I like to take in the chaos and the food is worth waiting for, rice and bbq chicken is great, their wraps are gorgeous and flat breads just delicious and obviously rough and ready means reasonably priced - a place I will continue to use regularly and I personally have only found the staff to be friendly and helpful even though I'm a Brit! |

so the food would be 5.. but really the service would take 10years! id all be hypoglycemic till i get to eat.. their strategy i think would starve u to death first so u can eat all your heart out.. thus the food would taste so heavenly great!.. even though the place is as busy as you could imagine.. still cant help finding myself coming more often to eat and referring this restaurant to my friends.. ...irregardless of all the negative feedback.. the bottom line is there food is Great! and people keep coming back for more! |

Nice restaurant, the place is not very...clean or luxurious but food is excellent. Beside this the service is not perfect as you might wait for half an hour minimum before getting served but you know what, it does not matter coz food is just great, probably the best you can get in Doha and it is somewhat cheap |

BEST food in Qatar. However, all comments regarding service is unfortunately correct. Order delays everytime. Restaurant does not have to be full (most of the times it is full), order comes not earlier that 30 minutes. Sometimes in 45-50 minutes. If you have time, you must eat here. If you do not have time, do not even try to come. |

OK, so the ambience is not the best, and the service is shoddy. But if that is what you are after head to the Intercon. If however you are looking for some of the best bbq and kebabs and mezze in Doha then you've come to the right place. |

The best if not one of the best grill restaurant. However the place could do a lot better with their hygiene and cleanliness department. On many an occasion the staff have been seen digging into the salad counter with kuboos whilst picking up orders. Delivery is also very poor as they are not prompt on their schedules. Faster to pick up the order. |

I love this place. The mix grill is absolutely fantastic and so are the salads. The owners are also very friendly. They have given me some black turkish tea the last time to try for free. The breads are marvelously soft and creamy. The people are also very friendly. Its usually packed everytime i go. |

At first view, it looks like a greasy cafe, but the food is excellent, just cooked and delicious. Don’t be put off by the noise and activity in the food hall upstairs, grab a table and put in your order and the food will turn up. It is an experience in food, bussle and hussle. |
