Qatar Academy is part of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, a private, chartered, non-profit organization founded by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar. The Academy is located on a magnificent campus in Doha. The Senior and Primary Schools occupy two modern, purpose-built buildings, having facilities that compete with the very best in the world.It is the mission of Qatar Academy to provide a variety of internationally accepted and comprehensive programs, including English medium programs, and Arabic and Islamic studies from pre-school through secondary school.

Qatar Academy is fully accredited by the U.S.-based New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Council of International Schools.
Qatar Academy's educational program prepares students for college admissions, and culminates by our students being granted the Qatar Academy High School Diploma. The program, which is offered in English, is based on Qatar Academy's comprehensive standards and benchmarks, program of studies, and the International Baccalaureate Organization's three programs: Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. Physical education, music, and IT are offered by specialist teachers from Preschool 3 through Grade 12. Arabic language is mandatory for all students up to Grade 10. In addition, the Academy has a strong extracurricular program.
