drinking coffee can lead to blindness
By toybits20 on Tue, 06/10/2009 - 7:41amI just finished my theory after so many months of coming and going to Villagio, Citi Center and other mall that has coffe shop like Starbucks, Coffee Bean, etc. I concluded that drinking coffee can lead to blindness because a NO SMOKING sign are posted all over the place but still they do smoke, so I urge everyone to stop drinking coffee before its too late, when you are already blind...

All your intimate breasts questions.
By mallrat on Sun, 27/09/2009 - 12:42amLet's talk about Breasts!
Can exercises like push-up really make you breasts bigger and firmer?
They won't affect your actual breasts, which don't contain muscle.
The only thing that make women's breast significantly bigger, implants aside, are weight gain and pregnancy.
.
Is there anything than can help prevent premature sagging?
Yes, How low you'll someday go (or won't) is largely determined by genes.
You can slow down the process by avoiding yo-yo weight gain and loss. It can stress and stretch breast ligaments, our natural support system.
.
Does drinking coffee really make breasts smaller?
Until there's further evidence, you won't see Starbucks slapping a warning: May Cause Breast Reduction label on lattes.

pissed off...
By wacky_baby on Tue, 01/09/2009 - 11:51pmHave you not found yourself wanting to cuss the slow Starbucks barista, or pound your fist when the internet is down, or glare at the driver who cut your line? Why are we so impatient, angry, and hostile? With the grind of the economy and the pressure to stay afloat, not to mention the hot summer sun, it’s safe to say most of us have a shorter fuse these days. As goes the Zen proverb, “Avoid one moment of anger, and you will avoid 100 days of sorrow."

The Filipino Challenge
By ONEmakikomoto on Tue, 11/08/2009 - 7:10am[A few more days from now, August 21st to be exact, the Philippines will celebrate the 26th death anniversary of Ninoy Aquino, an icon of democracy, who believed that "THE FILIPINO PEOPLE ARE WORTH DYING FOR."]
This is the first email I read today. A forwarded one by so many. And I thought I'd share it to the one of the most adorable group if not the most here in Qatar [Living].
...and i quote..

Beware the High Street coffees ..
By Aminos2008 on Wed, 29/07/2009 - 3:17pmBeware the High Street coffees with 25% of your daily calories.
Iced coffee drinks sold by High Street coffee shops can contain up to a quarter of a woman's daily calorie allowance.
One of the worst offenders adds up to a whopping 561 calories.
Experts recommend the average woman should consume no more than 2,000 calories a day, while the daily limit for men is 2,500 calories.
A quick coffee break could see a woman unwittingly getting through up to a quarter of her daily intake, while a man would be getting a fifth.
Starbucks' summer special Dark Berry Mocha Frappuccino with whipped cream is the most fattening, with 561 calories.
Ice coffee 'same fat as a meal'
By britexpat on Mon, 27/07/2009 - 10:57amLet's be careful out there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SOME iced coffees contain more calories than a steak and chips dinner, an expert said yesterday.
Dr Rachel Thompson found women who have the drink are consuming a quarter of their recommended 2,000 calorie daily intake.
This increases their chances of becoming obese - which could lead to cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
Dr Thompson of the World Cancer Research Fund studied iced drinks from three top chains.
Starbucks' dark berry mocha frappuccino in the largest venti size with added whipped cream has the highest number of calories - at 561.
