Can't believe this crap!

(Nov. 9) -- Many stars have had to fight persistent rumors about their sexuality. And in that way, Ernie and Bert are no different than John Travolta and Tom Cruise.

I've recounted the stories about the infamous "Ernie and Bert are gay" rumor probably more times than Count Von Count can count. But with "Sesame Street" celebrating its 40th anniversary on Tuesday, I'm going to take it as an opportunity to rehash that same silly rumor one more time.

Bangladesh to open own Taj Mahal

A life-size replica of the Taj Mahal, often described as the world's most beautiful building, is due to open for visitors in Bangladesh.

The replica has been built by a Bangladeshi filmmaker.
Ahsanullah Moni said he wanted his countrymen to experience the beauty of the Indian monument even if they were too poor to travel to see the original.

The 17th Century Taj was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved queen, Mumtaz Mahal.
The emperor is buried next to his queen in the monument in the northern Indian city of Agra, which is visited by millions every year.

The $58m (£39m) replica has been built in Sonargaon, a small town in the Bangladeshi countryside.

I don't want to be an Indian Boy!!!!

Wish I was a western boy or even an arab

I’m an Indian, I was born in India, raised, studied and worked in India, then I came over to Qatar. I had a different mentality than otherIndian boys in here, of course as an Indian boy there are rules coming from religion, culture and traditions that have to be followed. But I never cared about any of it, I lived for me, for whatever makes me happy.
I always respected these rules, I don’t break any of them on public. I think everybody should have the freedom to do anything they want. I’m an agnostic so I don’t do everything religion ask for, simply because I don’t believe in it . The conclusion is I do whatever, the sky is the limit for me it’s my choice my decision.

Good Gesture for Pakistani Community

We Pakistanis feel indebted to the Humanitarian organizations from Qatar for their noble humanitarian services for the people suffering from natural & human created catastrophies in Pakistan like of severe earthquake in October 2005 and recent displacement of millions because of US War on " Terror ".

A new humanitarian organization AlThani Bin Abdallah Foundation started its activities in Ramadan from arranging Dars-e-Quran with Iftar/Dinner for major expatriate communities serving in State of Qatar. Among these communities are Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Srilanka, Nepal and Philippines. Different dates and venues are kept for different communities. Arabi Sports Club and Khalifa Tennis Courts are the main venues.

My Beloved Philippines

Saturday, August 22, 2009
My Beloved Philippines

By Father James Reuter, S.J.

BY HER own admission, GMA (Gloria Macapagal Arroyo) rightfully assessed that over the last decades, our republic has become one of the weakest, steadily left behind by its more progressive neighbors.

Forty years ago, we were second only to Japan in economic stature, and way ahead of Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand. Today, at our present growth rate, it will take us 30 years to get to where Thailand is.

1. A population of 160 million;

2. Of those, 70 to 90 million (equivalent to our current population) will live below the poverty line;

3. Our national debt is estimated to be at US$200B (compared to US$28B when Marcos fled, and US$53B today);
