Secretary Costs Pepsi $ 1.26 Billion!!
By _noms_ on Thu, 29/10/2009 - 7:09amWhat's the cost of not showing up to court? For PepsiCo Inc., it's a $1.26 billion default judgment. A Wisconsin state court socked the company with the monster award in a case alleging that PepsiCo stole the idea to bottle and sell purified water from two Wisconsin men.
Now the company is scrambling to salvage the situation. The damages award was handed down on Sept. 30. PepsiCo filed motions to vacate the order and dismiss the claims on Oct. 13, saying it wasn't even aware of the lawsuit until Oct. 6.
Punishment of 59years in Jail.
By yousri on Tue, 01/09/2009 - 7:12pmA celebrity Los Angeles fashion designer will spend a minimum of 59 years in jail for sexually assaulting and raping over a dozen aspiring young models.
Anand Jon Alexander, an Indian born fashionista who designed clothes for Paris Hilton and Mary J. Blige and featured on the hit television show America's Next Top Model, was found guilty of 14 counts of sexual assault including forcible rape between 2002 - 2006.
Thirteen of his young victims held hands and cried as Superior Court Judge David Wesley told the 34-year-old rapist he should be incarcerated as long as possible for preying on young girls and women.
Three girls told a packed court-room how Alexander had robbed them of their innocence.
Why You Need Push-Ups
By shabibnurdin on Mon, 24/08/2009 - 8:42amAbout a month ago, while running from one end of the supermarket to the other in a mad rush, I tripped over my flip flop and went flying across three check-out aisles, hitting the concrete-hard floor. But because I do push-ups regularly, all I suffered was severe humiliation and a bruised knee.
When we fall forward, we typically reach out and our hands hit the ground first. If we're strong enough, our wrists and arms absorb much of the impact. Researchers who study the biomechanics of aging say push-ups are an effective way to strengthen your upper body so you can break a fall safely. If that's not enough incentive to get you into them, how's this: You'll also sculpt enviously sexy cocktail dress arms and shoulders. Ah, now I have your attention.
Is he a mama's boy?
By mallrat on Mon, 03/08/2009 - 2:07pmShe fed him, dressed him, gave him life-----
how's a girl supposed to compete with that?
Here, real women help you sort out normal-close from scary-close.
.
They're close...
"My husband hated living across the country from his mom, so we packed up our kids and moved nearly. But there are good things about them being so tight. She taught him how to cook, clean and be a good listener."
-Tia Ruggiero, N.Y.
.
They're really close......
"The day after i had sex with this guy for the first time, he said he'd filled his mom in! Apparently they always discussed his sex life and she sent him condoms. It was hard to get in the mood the next time knowing we'd be using one of her 'gifts'."
-Amy Newton, Chicago
.
Now, that's just nuts......
Scare Force 1 - Ignorant move *tssk*
By Harmagedōn on Sat, 01/08/2009 - 1:38amMy God, you'd think they'd handle this a bot smarter.
Updated, 5:52 p.m. | An Air Force One lookalike, the backup plane for the one regularly used by the president, flew low over parts of New York and New Jersey on Monday morning, accompanied by two F-16 fighters, so Air Force photographers could take pictures high above the New York harbor.
But the exercise — conducted without any notification to the public — caused momentary panic in some quarters and led to the evacuation of several buildings in Lower Manhattan and Jersey City. By the afternoon, the situation had turned into a political fuse box, with Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg saying that he was “furious” that he had not been told in advance about the flyover.
Jersey Mayors, Rabbis Stung in Graft Probe
By ochiha on Fri, 24/07/2009 - 4:18pm
Ochiha: "I wonder how long will this news stay on the top lines before they rap it up"
New Jersey has never been short of corruption scandals, but the one that unfolded yesterday was surprising even by the standards of the state that inspired "The Sopranos."
Federal agents swept across New Jersey and New York on Thursday, charging 44 people -- including mayors, rabbis and even one alleged trafficker in human kidneys -- in a decadelong investigation into public corruption and international money laundering.

SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
Drunks With Guns?
By notfromhere on Mon, 29/06/2009 - 9:17amArizona Moves to Allow Concealed Guns in Bars
By AMANDA LEE MYERS, Associated Press
PHOENIX – There was a time in the Wild West that cowboys had to check their guns before they could pull up a bar stool for a drink — rules that protected against the saloon gunfights that came to define the frontier era in places like Arizona.
But a bill moving through the Arizona Legislature has some bar owners fearful that the state is turning back the clock to the Old West. Lawmakers are considering a bill that would allow anyone with a concealed-weapons permit to bring a handgun into bars and restaurants serving alcohol.
