"Alienation of Affection" - Makalumang batas pero matindi!
By nicaq25 on Wed, 09/12/2009 - 12:52pm'Alienation of affection,' maaaring maging dahilan ng pagkakakulong ng sinuman
12/9/2009 4:57:23 PM
'Female Viagra' discovery claim
By Khanan on Tue, 17/11/2009 - 1:52pmA drug that failed tests as an antidepressant is being hailed as "Viagra for women" after surprising but not unpleasant side effects.
In three separate trials, the drug flibanserin did wonders for women's flagging sex drive despite doing nothing to lift mood.
The accidental discovery is akin to Viagra's - it was originally designed as a heart medicine but failed.
The US work was presented at a sexual medicine meeting in Lyon, France.
Lead researcher Professor John Thorp, of the University of North Carolina, told the European Society for Sexual Medicine: "Flibanserin was a poor antidepressant.
It's essentially a Viagra-like drug for women in that diminished desire or libido is the most common feminine sexual problem, like erectile dysfunction is in men
Secretary Costs Pepsi $ 1.26 Billion!!
By _noms_ on Thu, 29/10/2009 - 7:09amWhat's the cost of not showing up to court? For PepsiCo Inc., it's a $1.26 billion default judgment. A Wisconsin state court socked the company with the monster award in a case alleging that PepsiCo stole the idea to bottle and sell purified water from two Wisconsin men.
Now the company is scrambling to salvage the situation. The damages award was handed down on Sept. 30. PepsiCo filed motions to vacate the order and dismiss the claims on Oct. 13, saying it wasn't even aware of the lawsuit until Oct. 6.
7 Thoughts That Are Bad For You
By zuha on Mon, 14/09/2009 - 1:35pmOur personalities do more for us than determine our social circles. Temperament can impact a person's physical health.
"The idea that behavior or personality traits can influence health is one that's been around for a long time. We're just now getting a handle on to what extent they do," said Stephen Boyle of Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina.
From those with a chill demeanor to the completely frazzled types, mental factors are ultimately tied to physical health. And while a highly neurotic person might deteriorate more quickly than others, not every character trait will kill you. Some might even boost lifetimes.

Miss California becomes Right-wing pin-up
By Harry99 on Mon, 27/04/2009 - 7:13amA beauty queen who voiced her disapproval of gay marriage during a Miss USA pageant has become an unlikely pin-up for Right-wingers after she was subsequently insulted by one of the judges.
Carrie Prejean has spent the week since she lost out on the coveted crown standing by her anti-gay marriage views as debate has raged about her remarks.
Saying she "had spoken from my heart, from my beliefs and for my God", she told ABC: "It's not about being politically correct. For me, it's about being biblically correct."
During the beauty contest she was asked for her views on gay marriage, which has recently been allowed by four new states, by Perez Hilton, a celebrity blogger who is openly gay.
Best Birthday Present - Sex for a year !
By britexpat on Thu, 23/04/2009 - 11:59amWhat more can a man ask for ???????
Ladies , please read this.............
When her husband turned 40, Charla Muller couldn't decide what to give him, so she offered him guaranteed sex every night for a whole year.
Charla Muller was reading Galatians 5.22-23 in her Bible study group when she decided what she was going to get her husband, Brad, for his 40th birthday. Perhaps disappointingly for him, it wasn't an iTunes voucher. Instead, she was going to give him the gift of sex for 365 nights.
Hall of Fame opens its doors to greatest ever
By somwerNdmiddle on Tue, 07/04/2009 - 2:35pmMichael Jordan delivered the blueprint for the modern, iconic athlete. He didn’t just transcend basketball, but American sport. Tiger Woods gets compared far more with Jordan than he does Jack Nicklaus. Basketball hasn’t been alone searching for the next Jordan. As it turns out, so is everything else that uses a scoreboard.
Jordan taught sports how to pursue championships with ferocity and flair, style and grace. He always treated Sacramento in February like he did Madison Square Garden in the playoffs. Jordan was an industry, a movement, a happening. As much as Kobe Bryant and LeBron James chase each other, they also chase Jordan’s legend.
