Lisbon treaty signed - New Dawn in Europe

IMHO, a sad day for Europe. The Lisbon treaty will "federalize" Europe and take away a lot of the powers from sovereign nations .. RIP Europe!

Europe’s elite celebrated the imminent arrival of its first president last night as the last lingering resistance to the Lisbon treaty fell away with the stroke of a pen in Prague.

European leaders wasted no time in starting the process to choose their new president from a range of names including Tony Blair. Fredrik Reinfeldt, the Prime Minister of Sweden, which holds the EU presidency, began a round of telephone diplomacy to determine a shortlist of names.

Maybach 62 - $385,250

Maybach 62 features a 12 Cylinder, SOHC, 5.5 liter engine that can produce 543 horse power.
62 is an ultra-luxury sedan (made by Mercedes-Benz), which shockingly proves, that even such expensive cars to build, can turn into profit for car-makers.
Due to the fact that we list U.S. prices, Maybach 62 took 9th place. However the European version of Maybach 62 is more expensive than SLR McLaren (7th place) in Europe, while the retail price of U.S. version of the SLR is higher than any Maybach.....

Exporting Car & personal effects to Europe

OK, before the waves of hate come out, I have searched and can't seem to find what I am looking for. Im sure I have read this here but cant seem to find it.

Can anyone recommend or go through the process of exporting a Qatar registered vehicle to Europe? Also if its buy container what company would be best and if you can ship your personal effects with it.

One last thing, does anyone know how much would be an indicative cost to Italy?

Cheers and thanks!

Dahandahan bang Sinisira ng Simbahang Katoliko ang Pilipinas?

Last Wednesday (9/17/2009) Cotabato Auxiliary Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo issued a veiled warning to presidential candidate Sen. Noynoy Aquino indicating that the senator's support of the Reproductive Health Bill which he co-authored in the Philippine Senate could be detrimental to his presidential aspirations. Aquino, who currently leads the pack of presidential contenders is a strong supporter of sensible population control for his overpopulated Philippines.

Civil liability insurance

Hello

Our school sent home a letter today which is to be signed and returned ASAP, one of the points bothers me, the school requires that we obtain civil liability insurance for our kids whilst they are at school, I assume this is to indemnify us/the school against damage/injury for our kids or should our kids damage/injure another child or 3rd party property.

Whilst I have no problem taking care of my kids or the welfare of other kids is ensured and protected I can't help feeling cheated by the school. I pay then nearly 30000 US dollars a year to take care of and educate all my children, surely the school is liable for this and would have liability insurance of their own, would it not in fact be a legal requirement?
