LEONIT METEOR SHOWER TONIGHT ...BE CAREFUL
By Jo Naras on Tue, 17/11/2009 - 9:51amIn 2012 Movie, Meteor is the culprit of the calamity...according to information from astronomer there is a Meteor called "LEONID" Shower tonight that can be seen clearly from Indonesia, India and North America as the best view.......But there is a possibility that thismeteor size is bigger than a normal Meteor shower. If the Statosphere and ionospher and Ozone can not break these Meteor then a disaster can happen in place where this Meteor crush.... Therefore to people in Indonesia, India and North America let's pray nothing will happen seriously...:(( But I can't imagine if this Meteor falls into RasGas or Qatar Gas LNG Tanks...wow how bad it is the impact of catasthropic failure..I can't imagine it. scarry.:((

Philippines NOT a retirement heaven?
By Don Robert on Mon, 26/10/2009 - 3:22pmI came across an article on Forbes which lists 10 retirement heaven.
I was not entirely surprised that Philippines didn't make the list, but I was somewhat surprised that Malaysia and Thailand made the list.
Here's what Forbes has to say about it:
Thailand
Warmly welcoming of retirees and ideal for seniors on modest budgets, Thailand has everything from bungalows on Phuket's blue lagoons to urban living in bustling Bangkok. Considered Asia's best buy for quality health care at reasonable costs. But the good private hospitals are in Bangkok, so make sure your retreat on the water is within three hours of the capital.
Downside: unpredictable politics.
Malaysia

By highway66 on Mon, 26/10/2009 - 1:18pmGovernment of Nepal in consultation with Nepalese travel trade sector and concerned organizations/experts decided on October 25, 2008 to launch a national tourism campaign "Nepal Tourism Year 2011". This announcement reflects the government’s anticipation to bring into Nepal at least one million international tourists by the year 2011 and tourism industry’s exigency to organize a tourism promotion campaign for wider impact.
London's Heathrow tops list of worst airports
By ikei on Mon, 26/10/2009 - 9:10amSydney : Oct, 24
London's Heathrow Airport has been voted the worst airport in the world for the second year running in a poll of 14,500 frequent fliers while Singapore's Changi was again ranked as the best.
The survey participants, all member of airport lounge programme Priority Pass, rated Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport as the world's second worst with Los Angeles International Airport coming third despite a recent $1 billion overhaul.
"A result that suggests anyone wanting a romantic break in Paris should avoid the Heathrow-Charles de Gaulle route if they don't want to kill the mood," said a statement from Priority Pass.
"Sadly, Heathrow remains firmly entrenched as the airport the world loves to hate," added Jonathan French, head of brand for Priority Pass.
