Ramada Hotel

I'm planning to just walk around from my hotel (Souq Waqif area) all the way down to The Center (Ramada Hotel and Doha Jadida area) then back to Corniche. (I love walking!)

I google mapped my walking distance and path, and it looks good (like about 1 mile each direction).
Just curious if streets have side walks, or if this is recommended? not recommended?

This has been bothering me for some time now but i think it should be discussed in the open; It's about Dairy Queen next to Ramada Hotel:
Does this place turn into a brothel after midnight or what?
I usually like to go out late at night and grab a bite to eat and since it's the only one open 24/24 i usually end up going there, but everytime it's the same thing:

Girls come in groups with what appears to be their "arab patron" who meets with guys already sitting there and talks for about 5 mins after which girls spread out over different tables; In other times i was unlucky enough to witness the guys bring back the girls and discuss the events of that night with their buddies also trying their luck in Dairy Queen;

Hey guys! Chowking is really opening soon in Doha, have talked to a friend of mine from Chowking Philippines and he mentioned that it's going to be opened latter part of this month or early october. And it is located near my place! Salwa Road!!! he mentioned it is near Ramada Hotel...can't wait to taste Chowking's Beef Noodles and Siopao!!! And of course my favorite Halo Halo!!! and Chao Fan...and Braised Beef...and Kangkong...and EVERYTHING!!!! Go, go, go...geez...DIET PA NAMAN AKO!!!!

The services include gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, internet (wireless), cable-TV and 24 hours security besides a parking space.

I got a good deal for some colleagues of mine from Spain and the UK.

7,500 QR/month based on 3 months advanced quarterly payments for a one bedroom apartment (fully furnished).
