I am currently working in Asia Pacific Region (Singapore) as a Senior Business Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics. I have a solid implementation experience of Microsoft Navision & Microsoft Axapta as Implementation Consultant and currently looking for some openings in Middle East (Qatar).
Can any one share with me if the above ERP Business System is known in this part of the world and also if any one can give me some email addresses of your contacts to which I can send my resume and try for a position in Qatar. I am currently associated with IT/ERP Industry from past 13 YRS and hold sound knowledge of business systems.
Looking forward to receive help from this community who I find a very valuable source of help.

Brazil and England friendly football match
By HDY on Thu, 05/11/2009 - 3:48pmI had a deep thought before buying the match tickets, I was reluctant because I’m going with my wife and 3 years old child “who likes football”. We are going there to spend quality time, and share this experience together. Through TV, I saw in families attending such events to cheer and have fun, but I never saw the same in Middle East. That is the reason behind my hesitation.
Do you think that such matches are suitable for families? Shall I expect harassments?
Overall, it is a matter of culture, and I hope that I will not regret this experience.

Threading my beard...
By dereleecte on Tue, 03/11/2009 - 3:04pmI am fascinated with the clean shave line of Arab men's beards. I had my beard contour threaded sometime ago yet outside of Qatar - anyone hear of this in Doha?
Thanks for helping me out!
Background info:
What is threading?
Threading is an ancient method of hair removal still used in many countries in the Middle East as well as India and Pakistan. It is used to give clean lines and good shape to the eyebrows and also remove hair from the upper lip and other facial areas.
How does threading work?
100% cotton thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hair in the thread which is then lifted out from the follicle.

By nicaq25 on Tue, 03/11/2009 - 7:42amDOHA: After many years of hard work, hundreds of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) are now looking forward to finally getting their professional licences through a special board exam to be conducted here in December by the Philippine government’s Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
The special board exams was realised through an executive order issued by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo which will be conducted every year for qualified OFWs in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and other Middle East countries that have diplomatic relations with the Philippines.
In Qatar, the board exam hopefuls have been undergoing review classes on weekends over the past few months. The classes were made possible through the organised groups of Filipino architects, engineers and accountants.
