There are times when suddenly I feel my childhood utopia settle in once in a while especially now that I’m undergoing adjustments in my life. I miss the days where life is so easy. Where my only worry is whether the day is fair to play. Where I eat five times a day, watch my favorite TV programs and get enough sleep for a day. Where I don’t have to make decisions and be punish for it. Those were the days. Those were just memories that I can now only reminisce.

Honestly, I’ve been going through adjustments in my life and its really pressing me. I’m afraid of mistakes and the things I don’t understand. I feel anxious most of the time especially when things aren’t working my way. I fill unfulfilled because I know something is missing in me and that I shouldn’t feel this way. With all this I feel lonely even when I’m with my circle of security.

I know I have to accept the changes in my life and that I can learn eventually and go with the flow, but when? For now, I will continue to struggle for the people who saw something in me that neither I did not know and comprehend. I will just have to look forward for the time where the life I’m living will be full and satisfying and good again like that of my childhood.

A moment is eternity. Have you ever heard, or said, "I lived an eternity in that moment"?

A moment is now. It means being completely present to the person or opportunity before us.

Something has said, "People with fewest regrets are those who take each moment as it comes, for all that it is worth."

And it is good thing that they do, because the moment will never return. It is the best preparation for the next moment.

The break with the PAST

You have surely heard the nice saying that's been around for few years: "Today is the first day of the rest of your life."

But now I'd like to coin a companion saying: "Today is the last day of your Past."

Those two messages dont mean the same thing. The first advises us to get our life going the way we want it to go. The second means: get rid of old failures, taboos, inhibitions that kept us from being what we can be.

As we grow,we pick up warnings like: "thats a no,no." "dont you dare do that!" "know your place." We learn what people around us consider to be "customary" or "proper"or "shamë." We also hear why somethings is "impossible" to do.

If we are brainwashed by all this and go out as an adult into a very competitive world, we are shorn of our initiatives. We are handcuffed by all these warnings which we have dragged up from history.

What we need are the unlimited vision and the natural imagination which we had as a children.

Let today be the BEST day of your life.....
