Iam searching for a badminton court in doha.
at the moment I used to play in QBC(Qatar Badminton Club).
QBC has two courts,and its very rush.so trying to find some other place.If u have plz let me knw?

Hi, I just would like to know other than the Qatar Badminton Club near Doha College, where else can I play badminton? I heard that QBC membership is already full. If there are any badminton enthusiast out there please send me a message so I can join your group.

Qatar Badminton Academy (QBA) which started maiden venture of badminton training to children in Qatar has been coerced to move out of premises of Qatar Badminton Club (QBC).

In response to numerous requests received during and after the 1st Qatar Open Junior & Sub Junior Badminton tournament held in Al Arabi Sports Club in May 2008, badminton training for children/junior players in Qatar commenced under the aegis of Qatar Badminton Academy with sole aim to groom Badminton talents of Qatar which could produce tremendous results bringing in sporting glories for the State of Qatar. The Qatar Badminton Academy (QBA) is first such academy set up for training Children/Junior badminton players in Qatar.

35th QBC Qatar Open Badminton Tournament underway DAY 3

Doha, January 17, 2009 – The 35th Qatar Open Badminton Tournament conducted by Qatar Badminton Club (QBC) has entered day three with the successful completion of various preliminary matches in Senior as well as Junior Categories. Matches in Junior Categories were played on Friday 9AM onwards. Matches of Under 15 Boys & Girls Singles, Under 19 Boys & Girls Singles, Under 15 Boys & Girls Doubles, Under 19 Boys & Girls Doubles matches were played on Fri day. Under 15 Girls singles & Under 19 Boys Singles were played on Saturday 4pm to 7pm. Matches in Senior category were played on Satur day 7pm to 10 pm.
