Relationship Ed?
By Gypsy on Wed, 03/06/2009 - 9:06amFrom today's Globe and Mail:

"Unfriendly” waiting rooms, fear of judgment and a general apathy toward the anatomical focus of their sex ed classes mean many sexually active teens aren't bothering to visit doctors or clinics to discuss their sexual health, a new survey from Planned Parenthood Toronto reveals.
Medical Need or Psychological Need?
By Gypsy on Wed, 15/04/2009 - 11:19amKind of quiet on QL today, so here's an interesting little topic to liven up the day.
Here's the story: http://www.cbc.ca/ca...
The Alberta government will cover sex-change operations for those who have already been identified as needing the surgery, but the procedure will be delisted for new patients, Health Minister Ron Liepert confirmed Tuesday.
The decision to drop coverage of the procedure was announced in last week's provincial budget and is estimated to save the government $700,000 a year.
Members of Alberta's transgendered population and their supporters went to the Alberta legislature on Tuesday in hopes of getting the province to change its mind.
LET'S HEAR IT: What is your favorite beer?
By t_coffee_or_me on Fri, 03/04/2009 - 8:02pm1. Instead of sipping a beer, try soaking in it. Pour a bottle of German Badebier in the tub and lie back for a real bubble bath.
2. PUT OUT A FIRE
Although certainly not as effective as a real fire extinguisher, a can or bottle of beer can mimic one if none is available. Simply shake and spritz. After all, beer is mostly water. This works on small grill flare-ups, and some people have been known to carry an emergency can in their car in case of engine fire. Or at least that's what they tell the state troopers.
3. MARINATE MEAT
