pediatrician?

Does anyone know of a good pediatrician for a three year old? I took my son to our health center today ... and the doctor there looked about 12 years old!!! She didnt know what she was on about, and didnt check my sons ears, throat or chest...and her advice was give him cough medicine when my sons asthma has made a re-appearance!!!

We do not have private health insurance...but can get it if its required.

Please give us the doctors name and if possible a contact number/hospital.

Thanks

Can my pregnent wife get health insurance on arrival in Qatar?

Hi guys,

I am moving to Qatar in 1 month. By the time I move, my wife will be 3 months pregnant. On arrival will we get a health insurance for her that covers her pregnancy?

Can my wife also get a government "health card" as soon as her residence permit is done?

Could you also inform me of the estimated cost of a delivering a child at a local hospital, for example Hamad Medical Corporation?

Legality

I have an open contract and i have been working in this company for almost 4 years but until this time i don't receive even 1Riyal increase. As what i have read in the Labour Law, we are entitled for 10% increase per annum. I have tried several times to request for increment but all of those requests were ignored by the management. Question, if i decided to find another job inside Qatar what are my chances of getting the NOC from my employer if he refused to release me considering my length of service? Another thing, according to Labour Law employer MUST provide health insurance for his employees, unfortunately in my 4 years service with them i don't have any health insurance provided by my employer.

I'll appreciate any suggestions and advices...

14,000 QAR + free car + free home: fair enough for German living standards?

Hi.

First of all: what kind of taxes do I have to pay for insurance (especially health insurance) and is there some kind of tax for the salary (income tax) as in Germany?

What do you personally think about the income, especially if you like spending money =)

Why filipinos are mostly in Debt?

The topic that I have had with other posters in the other thread is about poverty and why Philippines is so poor.

While watching from the various video advertisements, this reminds me that television is sucking each and every soul of Filipinos. Why? Because of the commercials: buy this car, buy this phone, this TV brand, all the appliances and electronic gadgets you can think of. The truth is, how much does it cost...are they affordable?

Death by Smoke ..

A pack of cigarettes every day, for seven days, has enough nicotine to kill a person if injected in a single shot. Tobacco destroys. Save your life and money by quitting smoking.

Gulf News Wipe Out Waste (WoW) campaign looks at the problem that kills a person every six seconds worldwide.

It is almost 11am, and you have been swamped with classes, deadlines, appointments, and meetings all morning.

Still, at the back of your head, there’s the comforting thought of the aromatic cup of coffee you are going to have soon.
