Einstein's Anticipation!
By Dot.Com on Thu, 19/11/2009 - 10:11am
Prior to the creation of the State of Israel, two Jewish terrorist groups were working to cleanse Palestine of its Arab inhabitants and its British occupiers. The more brutal of these groups was Lohamei Herut Yisrael (Fighters for the Freedom of Israel) also known as the LEHI or the Stern Gang after its founder Avraham Stern.
Qatar Press Enjoys TOTAL Freedom?
By ummjake on Sun, 15/11/2009 - 7:50amDOHA: The press enjoys total freedom in Qatar. Not a single journalist has been sentenced to jail (in defamation suits) in the past eight years. This was disclosed by Dr Ali Fetais Al Marri, Qatar’s Attorney General, in reply to questions from reporters at a press conference at the end of the UN anti-corruption meet here yesterday.
“The media here expresses itself freely. There are no restrictions,” he said. Al Marri said Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is included among NGOs and is involved in the fight against corruption. The Foundation in its capacity as an NGO was assigned observer’s status at the UN anti-corruption conference, he added.

Iran refuses to ship uranium as wanted by UN
By mmyke on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 3:17pmIt just hit the news about an hour ago that Iran will not send any of its low grade uranium out of Iran to be enriched by a 3rd country....
Iran says that its uranium is for peaceful purposes, being the generation of domestic electricity.
Odd thing though,,,,Iran has no domestic nucleur reactors to produce domestic electricity.
How compassionate of them.....
By exiledsaint on Fri, 06/11/2009 - 9:18pmBack to one of my favourite subjects....so the man gets stoned to death, then the woman after she gives birth and the kid grows up without a mother or a father. Somalia, what you imagine hell is like but just don't want to look.....
Somali adulterer stoned to death
Islamists in southern Somalia have stoned a man to death for adultery but spared his pregnant girlfriend until she gives birth.
Abas Hussein Abdirahman, 33, was killed in front of a crowd of some 300 people in the port town of Merka.
An official from the al-Shabab group said the woman would be killed after she has had her baby.
Islamist groups run much of southern Somalia, while the UN-backed government only control parts of the capital.
West hails Karzai as 'legitimate' president..
By britexpat on Tue, 03/11/2009 - 7:32amThis shows that political expediency takes precedence over ethics and morality. We should all be ashamed of our leaders :O(
British and American officials rushed to congratulate Mr Karzai as the country's "legitimate leader" as the international community tried to draw a line under months of paralysing political limbo following the Aug 20 vote which was mired in fraud.
But London and Washington also made clear that they expect him to make immediate moves towards bolstering the ranks of the armed forces, tackling corruption and giving the defeated opposition a role within his new government.
KFC's Colonel Sanders tricks his way into UN
By britexpat on Wed, 28/10/2009 - 7:29amNow, I am beginning to wonder if Dracul and Pajju are real :O(
A man impersonating the Kentucky Fried Chicken founder Colonel Sanders managed to dupe his way into the UN headquarters in New York and shake hands with a senior official.
Dressed in the fast food icon's familiar white suit and black bow tie, the actor evaded tight security to gain access to the restricted areas of the complex.
He even posed for a photograph with Ali Treki, the new president of the UN General Assembly, before the alarm was raised and he was ejected.
"It should not have happened – that I will stress, and very strongly," Michele Montas told Canwest News Service, the Canadian news agency.

Dear all,
medyo mahaba lang but please do read…ito na nga ba ang ayaw natin mangyari kaya we really took pains to be able to distribute our (AIC) donations directly to the victims kahit karampot lang yong satin. I don’t know what we can do right now, but spreading the word might help. - Alpha
