Stepdaughter jailed for castration !

Is this justice ?

It's a hard one, but I personaly believe that she should have got a lighter sentence..

A WOMAN repeatedly raped by her stepfather as a child has been jailed for up to 15 years for castrating and killing him.

Brigitte Harris, 29, was abused from the age of three and feared evil Eric Goodridge would target her young nieces.

She beat the 55-year-old unconscious and stuffed a towel in his mouth, then cut off his penis with a scalpel.

Harris burned it on a stove to make sure it could not be sewn back on by medics.

She then walked out and called emergency services - but Goodridge had suffocated by the time they arrived.

Harris, from New York, has been held ever since the July 2007 killing.

Ft Hd Shooter Tied to Mosque of 9/11Hijackers

NEW YORK — The family of the alleged Fort Hood shooter held his mother's funeral at the same Virginia mosque that two Sept. 11 hijackers attended in 2001, at a time when a radical imam preached there.

Whether the Fort Hood shooter associated with the hijackers is something the FBI will probably look into, according to a law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

The family of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the Army psychiatrist who killed 13 and wounded 29 at the Texas military base, held his mother's funeral at the Dar al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Va., on May 31, 2001, according to her obituary in the Roanoke Times newspaper.

Stop sign regulations

A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a sheriff's deputy. He thinks that he is smarter than the deputy because he is a lawyer from New York and is certain that he has a better education than any cop from Houston. He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the deputy's expense.

Deputy says, "License and registration, please."

Lawyer says, "What for?"

Deputy says, " You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign."

Lawyer says, "I slowed down, and no one was coming."

Deputy says, "You still didn't come to a complete stop. License and registration, please."

Lawyer says, "What's the difference?"

Deputy says, "The difference is, you have to come to complete stop, that's the law. License and registration, please!"

U.S. settles suit with Muslims in post-9/11 abuse
Tue Nov 3, 2009 3:13pm EST

By Christine Kearney

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The U.S. government will pay $1.26 million to five Muslim men detained for months without charges after the September 11 attacks who sued for unlawful imprisonment and abuse, their lawyers said on Tuesday.

The men claimed they suffered inhumane and degrading treatment in a Brooklyn detention center, including solitary confinement, severe beatings, incessant verbal abuse and a blackout on communications with their families and attorneys.

KFC's Colonel Sanders tricks his way into UN

Now, I am beginning to wonder if Dracul and Pajju are real :O(

A man impersonating the Kentucky Fried Chicken founder Colonel Sanders managed to dupe his way into the UN headquarters in New York and shake hands with a senior official.

Dressed in the fast food icon's familiar white suit and black bow tie, the actor evaded tight security to gain access to the restricted areas of the complex.

He even posed for a photograph with Ali Treki, the new president of the UN General Assembly, before the alarm was raised and he was ejected.

"It should not have happened – that I will stress, and very strongly," Michele Montas told Canwest News Service, the Canadian news agency.

Naked Scanner in Airport trial

A scanner which produces "naked" images of passengers has started a trial at Manchester Airport.

The authorities say it will speed up security checks by quickly revealing any concealed weapons or explosives.

But the full body scans will also show up breast enlargements, body piercings and a clear black-and-white outline of passengers' genitals.

The airport has stressed that the images are not pornographic and will be destroyed straight away.

Sarah Barrett, head of customer experience at the airport, said most passengers did not like the traditional "pat down" search.

At Manchester Airport's Terminal 2, where the machine has been introduced, passengers will no longer have to remove their coats, shoes and belts as they go through security checks.

How Safe are we in the mid air?

Photobucket

The air traffic controller banters and chuckles, engrossed in a teasing phone call with a giggling friend, unaware that two aircraft are on a collision course over New York’s Hudson River.

As the controller chatted on the phone, he was unaware that disaster loomed, until alerted too late by others controllers.
