This morning one guy hit my car at the back in a traffic signal (At yellow sign ) . I called the police and they came and took the report of the damage . The police told me to come to the police station tomorrow to hand me over the report . The guy who hit me accepted the responsibility . He has a third party insurance . Now how should I get the claim from his insurance company for the damaged repaired ? Can you please help me on this the next procedure as I am new in Qatar ?

I am looking for a reliable insurance company to get a life and medical cover....if any one can advice me

What is the procedure for Auto insurance claim in Qatar ? Is it possible that body shop will claim directly from the insurance Company after deducting the mandatory deductable amount as per the policy from me? Or I have to pay and claim from the insurance company ?

can i rely on Insurance company preferred garage to repair accident damage on bumpers.i heard the quality of works are very bad in there garages, they just do it to get rid of the case. can we force the insurance company to get it repaired in the agency garage? genuine advices awaited.

Does anyone know the location of Qatar General Insurance Company?

Someone drove into our car when it was parked, I have a police report, but now need to go to the insurance company, but am unsure of the location.

Also, what is the process? Do I give them the police report and they fix the car, or do they give me a quote and I find somewhere to have it fixed?

Can someone tell me , why insurance companies are not allowing "Agency Repair" (repair of car with dealer) from second year onwards..? Insurance told me, "it is Qatar law"...is it true..or....??

When we meet the road accident causing the damage of car by another party.

1) Should we call the police first, what is the contact number of police ?

2) Should we keep the damaged car standing on the same accident spot for a better assessment from the police personnel or park it to a nearest place to ease the traffic flow ?

3) How can we claim from the insurance company for the damaged car for its repairing ?
