Doha College

My contract ends in February 2010. I am here with my family and I would like to exit the country but our problem is we want our daughter to finish her school year. She is doing very well at Doha College and sits her GCSEs in June. My brother-in-law is also working here. Can we transfer her visa to his on a family sponsorship? Unfortunately, we don't share the same family name.

My contract is ending in mid-February and my family have to move out of our company-provided villa. Our daughter sits her GCSEs at Doha College in June so we must stay until then. So we are looking for short-term property for 4 months. We read in the newspapers that there are 15,000 to 20,000 unoccupied properties in Doha. But whenever we enquire to agents, they want to insist on a 1 year lease contract. We explain our situation to them but they are so uncompromising. It's so frustrating. When there is so much unoccupied property, why can't they understand that 35% of something is better than 100% of nothing?

I am looking for a teacher, native English speakers, who can tutor one of my children, basically to put her up to speed with reading/writting.

Ideally the tutor would be a teacher from American School of Doha, Doha College, or similar, native English speaker with experience dealing with children 6-10 years of age, who can tutor a couple of hours during weekdays. Even better if the tutor has experience with English as a second language.
