Genderless???? :-o
By svelte_saggi on Wed, 17/03/2010 - 10:26amBriton is recognised as world's first officially genderless person
A British expat who claims to have no gender is thought to have become the first person to be officially recognised as neither male or female.

After becoming unhappy as a woman, May-Welby decided to become a “neuter”. The 48-year-old is now officially recognised as a person of no specific gender.
May-Welby emigrated to Australia at the age of seven after being born in Paisley, Renfrewshire.
I have recently been employed by a school who will process my employment visa and have been asked to get my certificates stamped/approved? Does anyone know what I have to do for this - I got my degree in Australia. Does a local government office stamp them for me?
Thanks!!
Public Opinion:
By johny_boiei on Sun, 14/03/2010 - 3:22pmAfridi should lead Pakistan cricket team!
After Pakistan’s disastrous tour of Australia, we started a poll on Pakool.com asking our visitors to let us know who should lead the Pakistan cricket team. Over 700 votes were casted and finally the results are out.
The large majority of voters think Shahid Afridi is best choice for Pakistan captain. A massive 65% people voted in favour of Adridi, and the closest contender is Younis Khan with just 12% votes.
Life ban for Pakistani Senior Cricketers
By blablubliblrrr on Wed, 10/03/2010 - 1:57pmPak Cricket Board bans Younis, Yousuf from international cricket
The Pakistan Cricket Board has barred Mohammad Yousuf and Younis Khan from the national team indefinitely and imposed a one-year ban on Shoaib Malik and Rana Naved for behavior they say contributed to Pakistan’s poor performance on its recent tour of Australia.
The PCB on Wednesday implemented the recommendations of an inquiry committee formed to evaluate Pakistan’s dismal performance against Australia in December and January.
“Younis and Yousuf both cannot represent Pakistan in any international games, but they can play in domestic cricket and compete in county cricket,” PCB legal advisor Taffazul Rizvi told the Associated Press.

Why Switzerlan why?
By Straight Arrow on Wed, 10/03/2010 - 1:17pmSwitzerland’s troubling record of suicide
Here’s one record the Swiss may not be so enthusiastic about holding: more suicides are committed here using guns per capita than anywhere else in Europe.
The issues of gun suicide and Switzerland’s high rate of weapon ownership came under the spotlight again in January. The police chief overseeing security at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos turned his service revolver against himself a day before the event began.
His case is hardly unique. From 1996 to 2005, 3,410 suicides, or between 24 and 28 per cent of all those in Switzerland, were committed using firearms.

Rana, Malik get one-year bans, Younis and Yousuf axed from teams
By chaudary on Wed, 10/03/2010 - 11:51amThe PCB has struck against its players with a venom unseen in recent memory, carrying out the deepest cull of a senior cricket team in many years and banning and fining seven of its top players after the side's disastrous, winless tour of Australia. It effectively banned Younis Khan and Mohammad Yousuf from playing for Pakistan in any format, while handing out one-year bans to Shoaib Malik and Rana Naved-ul-Hasan. Shahid Afridi and the Akmal brothers were fined Rs2-3 million [$24,000-35,000] for various misdemeanours and put on six-month probations.
