Bears are after the militants in Kashmir

A bear killed two militants after discovering them in its den in Indian-administered Kashmir, police say.

Two other militants escaped, one of them badly wounded, after the attack in Kulgam district, south of Srinagar.

The militants had assault rifles but were taken by surprise - police found the remains of pudding they had made to eat when the bear attacked.

High time someone asked them to sop their violent methods and go for a peaceful solution. Else even the animals are not going to spare them

India alleges Pak hand in counterfeit notes

New Delhi: When India’s central bank admitted discovering 400,000 fake notes in its currency reserves, many here woke up to the scale of the country’s counterfeit money problems.

“We have had some success in tracking the routes and will continue to counter it, but behind this racket is an organised effort in Pakistan and PoK (Pakistan-administered Kashmir),” Home Minister P Chidamabaram said recently.

No proof to implicate Saeed in 26/11 case:ISI

Notwithstanding the dossiers of information handed over by India, Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence believes that there is nothing to implicate Hafiz Mohammed Saeed, a key accused in the Mumbai terror attack case, a media report said in Islamabad [ Images ] on Wednesday, quoting an ISI official.

Jamaat-ud-Dawah chief Saeed, who was also the founder of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Tayiba [ Images ], was let off in July by a Pakistani court, which said there was no evidence to link him to the 26/11 carnage.

"We could not find anything to implicate Hafiz Saeed [ Images ] as such," the unnamed ISI official was quoted as saying by the News Daily.

AMAZING PAKISTAN

A picture hidden from the World

In the recent times due to rendezvous between political forces and media, an ugliest picture about my country has been portrayed in front of the world, a picture that holds no color or I am not wrong to say “It’s all black just black”. I’m the struggling to unveil the true picture that hold millions of colors, so bright and so shiny that can dazzle one’s eyes. If you are son of a soil, and you love your country as much as I do then you will help me fight against those who are painting your land as a black corner of this world. “Spread the truth as much as you can, fight for the right”

Kashmir Rape and Murder Case

The double rape and murder case that has put Kashmir on the edge took a new turn on Thursday when two “witnesses” told a court that they had heard cries for help from inside a security vehicle the day the two women disappeared.

The vehicle, they said, had been parked near a bridge on the Rambiyar stream from where the bodies were recovered the next day.

The two witnesses voluntarily approached the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to probe the case and were taken to the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Shopian, to record their statement.

The eyewitnesses—Ghulam Mohideen and Abdul Rasheed Pampori—claimed they were on their way home that evening when they saw a security vehicle and heard women’s cries for help.
