Wedding Suits
By Bthomas on Sat, 14/11/2009 - 8:46amHey,
I'm getting a wedding suit. I saw some collections at Brands - City Centre.
But most of their collection was very regional (eg: plenty gold on their waist coats) There were a few that I liked, but I'm still looking.
Can you guys suggest a place to find similar options such as the one in the link?
I'm looking at a pink theme, hence the link.
Plus, where do I get a cravat over here? The ppl at brands were like amazed at the word cravat!
Thanks for your help in advance.
City Centre-family day?
By shn111 on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 8:52pmI just made a visit to cc on last friday. The security at the entrance blocked me and my friend and told us that its family day.I witnessed many bachelor's getting in.When I asked the security about it he was not responding. The security was not minding them(bachelors)getting in.But he blocked us though we are students and under 18.Do they block only young students??Are bachelors allowed??
I'm off on Holiday to Everest Base Camp, but have spoken to my bank about foreign currency but they can't help. Also tried the exchange centre in City Centre. Any one know where I can some money changed for sure?

Le Cinéma Villaggio!
By Wanderer on Tue, 27/10/2009 - 5:06pmAfter Jane01 posted about the Villaggio Cinema, I finally got around to visiting the place. By the time I got free, it was too late and I could catch only an 11pm show.
That was good in a way. I could go about looking at the place without much interruption. First off, I asked the security people if it was ok to take pictures and they obliged with a smile. And so that was how I started my tour of the Villaggio cinema.

Tennis partner
By selina_marier on Fri, 23/10/2009 - 6:21pmIm a new brit addition to doha and extremely board waiting for my contract to start. Any fun loving women out there fancy tennis? I would consider myself an intermediate but havent played for a while, more about the exercise and social side rather than a hard core championship game. I'm near Gharafa Stadium, 15mins from City Centre - tennis anyone?

Car ownership transfer poss. at City Centre?
By wotsonqatar on Wed, 21/10/2009 - 6:52pmDear Forum Members,
Does the traffic department at City Centre offer car ownership transfer services (ie seller transferring ownership of car to buyer)? Or do we need to visit more specialised traffic departments at other location?
Please advise.
Thanks.

England-Brazil tickets go on sale Wednesday
By Wanderer on Tue, 20/10/2009 - 8:02pmAm not sure if this information has already become known, but a little birdie says that the tickets for the Brazil vs England match will go on sale on Wednesday (October 21).
It can be bought from http://en.qfa.com.qa... or can be had from one of five shopping malls where kiosks will be opened. The five outlets are the City Centre, Landmark, Villaggio Mall, Souk Wakif and The Mall.
The ticket charges range from QR100 to QR 750. See you all at the stadium.

PROFESSIONAL TRAVEL AGENCY
By dottymum on Thu, 24/09/2009 - 11:25pmI want to travel at Christmas to either Malaysia or Sri Lanka with my family. One would think that this wouldnt be something difficult to arrange through a travel agency. When i ask for packages to the destination that i want its like ive asked them to give me the moon! Most of the staff ive come across really appear like they cant be bothered to help.
I need some suggestions for good travel agencies. Have been to the one in City Centre, Regency Travel (after 2 weeks still cant give me quote for Sri Lanka), been to several others and left my details with but they never bother calling back!
There must be at least one professional travel agency in this country, somewhere!
Help me out here!
Many thanks
