Bakit mas maangas ang mga PINOY sa DOHA?
By doham1121 on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 11:37amJust recently, nagkita-kita kaming mga dating mga magkakaibigan na nagwork sa DUBAI for 5 years and dahil sa recession ay nalipat sa DOHA this year.
Just an opinion required.
My Parent Company is transferring me from Qatar To Oman.
I have the folllowing questions open to suggestions.
1. Should I ask for NOC from Exisiting Sponsor ( say sponsor A ) in Qatar in case things do not work out for me in Oman.
2. In case things do not work out in Oman and my visa in Qatar is cancelled, can it be again issued under same sponsor ( sponsor A ) before 2 years in case he does not give me NOC ?
3. If I get NOC from Sponsor A for Qatar , Should I also take Police CLearence certificate just in case sponsor A does not take me back in Qatar ( so that I can go to Sponsor B in Qatar )

Moving company in Qatar
By stony2009 on Sun, 25/10/2009 - 5:09pmDoes anybody have an idea, what I can do?
I moved from Qatar back to Germany in August 2009.
The removal company was:
Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Removals.
Global Freight Systems Co. W.L.L.
P.O. Box: 30640 Doha - Qatar .
Packing started on the 18 of August, they finished after working one whole night on the 27. of August.
So we are talking about 10 days packing by 4 people. The same contents were packed in Germany and in
England within 3 days by 2-3 packers.
There was only one competent packer, the others were willing put they had no training.
We left Qatar on the 28, being told, that the ship would leave on the 29 of August,
arriving in Germany on the 26 latest 28 of September (a realistic time, moving from GB to Qatar took including tax four weeks).
Qatar - The Political Perspective
By FriedUnicorn on Thu, 01/10/2009 - 2:40pmAll of us who are originally from here or have made Qatar our second home get very little information related to it's political dynamics. I, for one, have been trying to find a few good sources of information specially related to the issues of foreign intrests. Found this one informed.
The Qataris have made the generation leap under their new Emir, Shaikh Hamad, with the political situation having stabilised. As a result, Qatar is one of the most attractive countries for foreign investors in the Middle East, with the state's decision making mechanism having improved.
However, Qatar embraces many contradictions. The emirate hoists several different flags, which together describe the bizarre combination of its policies:
School Re-opening in Qatar (Swine Flu)
By syedkhadeer on Thu, 01/10/2009 - 8:43amSwine Flu has caused lot of damage in last few months and expected to spread more in winter, especially among kids.
How many parents in Qatar are comfortable sending kids to school in this condition ? I heard in Oman there were around 20 deaths and the govt. has postpone schools reopening till 1st of November.
I am sure schools are taking enough precautions but still is it safe to send kids to school. Does anyone know how many are infected with Swine Flu in Qatar ?
