maids
My family and I want to hire a full time maid, but we do not want a live-in maid? Is that possible in Qatar? Do you know any agencies that can help with this? What about part-time maids?

Shocking Business - Parents be Cautious...
By Lion_King on Sat, 07/11/2009 - 1:22pmA maid regularly drugged the seven-month old baby in her care and rented him out for Rs100/- a day. Every day the kid was taken by street beggars well supported by begging racket run by a mafia. The outrageous act was revealed when the mother returned home earlier than expected and found the child was missing. Upon questioning the maid, she revealed the complete story.
Working parents often depend on maids and leave the kids under their "safe custody" during the day. But in the fast moving cycle of life parents often fail to double check on maids and sometimes the symptoms/abnormal behaviours of toddlers remain unnoticed.

POWER OF MONEY
By chadqa on Sun, 11/10/2009 - 12:08amPOWER OF MONEY, BY ADAM KHOO( Singapore 's youngest millionaire at 26 yrs.)
Some of you may already know that I travel around the region pretty frequently, having to visit and conduct seminars
at my offices in Malaysia , Indonesia , Thailand and Suzhou (China ). I am in the airport almost every other week so
I get to bump into many people who have attended my seminars or have read my books.
Recently, someone came up to me on a plane to KL and looked rather shocked. He asked, 'How come a millionaire
like you is traveling economy?' My reply was, 'That's why I am a millionaire. ' He still looked pretty confused.
This again confirms that greatest lie ever told about wealth (which I wrote about in my latest book 'Secrets of Self-
We are an Australian family, are we able to sponsor a maid from Nepal? I hear there are restrictions on some counties from where we can sponsor maids. Is Nepal one of those?
Also if we do sponsor a maid, are we able transfer that sponsorship to Dubai, as there is a possibility of us relocating to Dubai.
If no one knows for sure is there somewhere I can find out?
Thanks

Is there a standard format for the maids contract-How can I get a copy?
I am referring to the contract that needs to be attested by the filipino embassy (in this case) here and the Qatari embassy in Phillipines.

We are a family with 3 kids and planning to move next summer.
My husband is already working over there an commuting back at weekends. We are waiting to see how the job/probation goes and what happens with school places. We are optimistic about DESS as British and the younger kids are due to start KG1/nursery in September, so we afre hoping we will have a good chance to get in.
We are hoping to bring the maid with us (any advise welcome)
possibly the 4x4 (again any advise and idea of cost/hassle appreciated)
I am a lady doctor from India in Qatar since 2 months and have a working RP. My husband works in India. I have 2 small kids who recently came to Qatar on 1 month visit visas. I am planning to get my house maid from India to take care of my kids and the house when I go for duty. But it seems to be VERY difficult as the Indian Embassy doesn't permit any maids from India to work here. Can anyone suggest a solution, please?
