Cordillera Officials Close Ranks For Gilberto "Gibo" Teodoro Jr.
By juandelacruz_qatar on Sun, 07/03/2010 - 8:25pmAt least 150 local leaders in the Cordillera Administrative Region led by four governors, two vice governors and two members of the House of Representatives have pledged support for their “adopted son” former defense secretary Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro Jr. in this year’s presidential contest.
The Cordillera officials join their Northern Alliance counterparts in having declared support for Teodoro, whose maternal grandmother hails from Baguio City, during a Sunday night dinner program at the Hotel Supreme Convention Center.
Typhoon Santi slightly veers south, M. Manila still threatened
By azilana7037 on Fri, 30/10/2009 - 9:54pmTyphoon Santi, which was earlier forecast to directly hit Metro Manila and four other provinces in southern Luzon, veered slightly southward on Friday night in the direction of Bicol and Southern Tagalog regions on Saturday even as Metro Manila remains threatened.
According to the 10:45 p.m. weather bulletin by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Santi was last spotted 30 kms north of Daet, Camarines Norte, moving west southwest at 20 kph.
Asked if Metro Manila remained along Santi's path, Pagasa administrator Dr. Prisco Nilo said that although there was still that possibility, the more likely scenario is that the center of typhoon Santi would pass south of Manila.

C.P. apologizes to all IGOROTS
By BULLONG on Fri, 15/05/2009 - 6:19pmCandy Pangilinan apologizes to all Igorots
By SHIRLEY MATIAS PIZARRO

In the recent Mothers’ Day weekend, comedienne Candy Pangilinan didn’t feel pampered nor cherished just like most of us mommies felt on that day.
The reason was she had been working, and working real hard. It’s an open secret that Candy is a single mom and has been doing a good job raising her child as such.
Unfortunately, she got embroiled in a “scandalous” situation after she carelessly mouthed the lines “Akala niyo Igorot ako ano? Tao po ako,” attempting to throw a punchline during the show at SM Baguio.
IGOROTS
By BULLONG on Mon, 11/05/2009 - 10:49am"I am an Igorot. Let me be treated as I deserve—with respect if I am good, with contempt if I am no good, irrespective of the name I carry. Let the term, Igorot, remain, and the world will use it with the correct meaning attached to it." – Jose Dulnuan”

..I was in the souq last night and having difficulty in getting a cab. A kabayan stopped by and shared a lift, along the way we had a short conversation as to from where each other came from back home. "I said I am from Baguio-Benguet, an Igorot" -he looked back at me in a shocking face and said: "I thought igorots have t**ls**
