Emirates Airline
*** Doha 2 Dubai ***
By DonIsGood on Wed, 01/07/2009 - 10:19pmG'day all,
Am thinking of travelling to Dubai for the weekend. Can any one advise what is the cheapest option to Dubai?
From what I can gather, Emirates and Qatar Air are the only airlines that fly between Doha-Dubai, and each charge QR1190 return!
It would be much appreciated if any one can share some light.
Cheers,
Don

Emirates "kids go free" Offer
By SDJC on Thu, 14/05/2009 - 11:33amEmirates Airline has dismissed suggestions that its latest promotion, offering children free flights, accommodation and meals in Dubai, is being launched in reaction to a drop in demand for seats.
The Dubai-based carrier told Arabian Business on Thursday that offering families affordable packages to visit the emirate is the only reason for launching the ‘kids go free’ scheme.
“This promotion has been launched to offer our customers the opportunity to have a family holiday in a unique destination without breaking their budget,” Russell Sheldon, senior vice president for Emirates’ network passenger sales development, said.

Indians flee Dubai as dreams crash

It’s the great escape by Indians who’ve hit the dead-end in Dubai .
Local police have found at least 3,000 automobiles — sedans, SUVs, regulars — abandoned outside Dubai International Airport in the last four months. Police say most of the vehicles had keys in the ignition, a clear sign they were left behind by owners in a hurry to take flight.
The global economic crisis has brought Dubai ’s economic progress, mirrored by its soaring towers and luxurious resorts, to a stuttering halt. Several people have been laid off in the past months after the realty boom started unraveling.
Does anyone have any information on the recruitment of airhost or airhosts from "Qatar airways" or "Emirate airlines"? How is the salary package? any other details?
Thanks
