What prize do you get for a quiz? Somalia
By exiledsaint on Sat, 17/10/2009 - 8:31pmI can't write stuff as funny as this, genuis, pure genius...
The winners of a quiz organised by Somali Islamists have been given weapons and ammunition as prizes.
Prizes included AK-47 assault rifles, hand grenades and an anti-tank mine.
The quiz ran during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan in the port city of Kismayo, and included questions about the Koran and Somali geography.
A representative for the al-Shabab militant group said the quiz aimed to stop young men from wasting their time and focus on defending their territory.
Not a religious thread....
By exiledsaint on Thu, 15/10/2009 - 6:33pmAl-Qadea launches Western style fundraising. Sponsor A Matyr.....
Al-Qaeda has launched a fund-raising campaign asking wealthy Islamic fundamentalists to sponsor a martyr after finding itself is in its worst financial state for many years.
The move comes as US efforts to restrict the groups funding appear to be paying off, affecting both recruitment and training within the terrorist organisation.
An Al Qaeda spokesperson told Al Jazeera, “It is true that money is a little tight right now, but that is all the more reason to give generously in our fight against the godless infidels.”
“For just ten dollars a month you can sponsor Abdul, a disillusioned teenager from Yemen, as we teach and train him, and ultimately turn him into a suicide bomber we can all be proud of.”
This is what is meant by JIHAD.

SHAHDRA SHARIEF (RAJOURI) : Displaying rare courage, a 20-year-old Kashmiri woman axed to death an armed Lashkar-e-Toiba commander and then, along with her 18-year-old brother, snatched guns and opened fire on two other militants, wounding one and forcing them to flee. The incident took place at Shahdra Sharief in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir late Sunday night.
Police identified the dead militant as Uzafa Shah, a Pakistani national who had been operating in the Rajouri-Poonch area for the last four years. He was said to be the only Lashkar commander in the area who had survived.
Dealer offers free Kalashnikov with every car
By britexpat on Mon, 20/07/2009 - 7:35amMY kind of guy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Missouri car dealer has taken a novel approach to combating the fall in US vehicle sales by offering a free Kalashnikov assault rifle with every truck, whether new or used.
Mark Muller, whose business slogan is "God, Guns, Guts, and American Pick-Up Trucks", said he had been overwhelmed by the response.
"It's extremely successful. There is a lot of worry about crime, we have a methamphetamine problem around here and people just want to protect themselves," said the boss of Max Motors near Kansas City. "And what could be better than supporting American products in these troubled times?"
