Photography Course

We are currently investigating the possibility to get a professional photographer from South Africa to come to Doha and facilitate different courses and workshops.

We are at the very early stages of negotiating with them and it is important for us to determine how many people will be interested to take the course, as there will be a selection of courses and it will be given on a full time and part-time basis for a few weeks, evenings and weekends for the people that have day jobs.

The period being considered is from 15 Jan 08 to end of February 08.

Some of the courses that he has mentioned include:
- know your camera
- introduction to photo shop
- photo shop editing for stock
- advanced photo shop
- food photography
- action and sports
- products and pack shots

Technology

I am having a problem copying/cutting JPG files to a USB device. USB is 2GB and empty, total number of files are 300mb.

Half of them transferred succesfully, then this message appears for the remainder in the usual microsoft blue and grey box:

'Error copying file or folder'

'Cannot copy 32: The directory or file cannot be created'

32 is the file name.

I checked the properties of those transferred and those that wont, they are the same.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

The Hidden Risk of File Sharing

Many of the hundreds of millions of people around the world who swap music, movies and other digital content on their personal computers over the Internet have inadvertently put themselves at risk of identity theft.

Users of popular file-sharing services such as LimeWire have found themselves victims of identity theft when their personal information was inadvertently shared on a so-called peer-to-peer network. And recent high-profile breaches via these networks have put thousands of people's financial information at risk. The problem typically arises when users set up file-sharing software and create a folder for their downloads in the same location as their personal files.

Al Jazeera Newsroom in Doha Attacked (Virtually)

Crazy...it seems that someone created a replica map of the AlJazeera Newsroom (the Doha one) and posted a video of the Marines shooting it up.
