In celebration of the Garangao Festival, Moevenpick Tower & Suites Doha would like to invite you for a special children’s event on Saturday, 5th of September 2009 starting at 6:00 pm.

“The Garangao Festival is a celebration that is traditionally held in the Gulf area every 14th day of Ramadan. On this evening, children clad in their traditional clothes, will come out of their homes and knock on every door in their neighborhood, where they will receive sweets and nuts. Children can be seen in the streets until late into the night singing the special Garangao song and collecting goodies. This is a very pleasing scene with the children dressed in their lovely colourful traditional clothes.”
