Horrible Experience at Dr. Khudsia Clinic...

Hi All:

I wanna share something which was happened to us few day ago. Someone suggested my wife that Dr. Khudsia is the best Gyne Doctor in Doha (her clinic is near to Al Waab intersection). We went to her clinic for appointment, the lady on receptionist said that we give appointment from 4 to 8pm so come today.

Next day I went at 5pm and got appointment # 25. I asked her that how much it will be taken, she said that you can come after 1 hour. I dropped my wife at her clinic.

Transportation needed

I am looking for a driver to drive me to work,5 days a week.Route is Freej Soudan( near Al Waab signal) to Aspire and back.I work shifts so pick up will be some days at 06:30am - 13:30 hrs and others 13:30 hrs - 21:00 hrs.

Shifting house

I am looking for somebody to load,transport and unload my staff from villa near ASPIRE to a villa in Freej Soudan(in the middle between Al Waab and Al Sadd.)Few cupboards(not very big),fridge,baby cot,two folding beds,window AC( which has to be removed as well),4-5 suitcases.Please contact me between 9:00am till 9:00pm

Hi.

Can anyone suggest me few playschools near Al Waab area. I know about CESK but they arent taking any kids coz of Summer camp.

SAS sports club - owners' contacts

Hi

Does anyone know who the owners of the old SAS sports club is at near Al Waab off the Salwa road?

It is run down and falling to bits but I know some people interested in giving it a new lease of life?

Please pass this on to any local qatari forums if you know how.

Al Waab Signal to be closed for work

'Al Waab Signal … ‘temporary closure’'

The Al Waab Signal will be partially closed for one week from today, Public Works Authority (Ashghal) said yesterday.
The closure is in order to complete road work, it said.
Motorists coming from Sadd Signal towards Al Waab will have to turn right at the Lakhwiya round-about and then turn left, followed by another right turn, to come back on the Al Waab Street.
Those coming from Bustan Street towards Al Waab will go straight past the Lakhwiya round-about, turn left and then right to enter Al Waab Street, the Authority said.

Does anyone know where a large cargo van or box truck (example: Mitsubishi Canter) can be rented by the hour or day?

I need to relocate a relatively small amount of personal stuff from the West Bay to Al Waab.

Hello all,

I might be getting an accommodation (possibly compound villa) in either Al Waab area or Al Gharrafa (or Gharaffa? spelling is confusing...) area. Any advice comparing these two areas would be appreciated. I will be working at QU.

I have two kids, primary and preschool. Which area would you recommend? Why?
