We will meet on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 6:30 pm at the Friends for the Environment Centre to promote environmental awareness and action within the community.

Program Topics:

- Biodegradable shopping bags and trash bags, E-Waste recycling including printer cartridges by Mr. Venu, General Manager of Al Haya Waste Management & Projects Company

- "Hot, Flat and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution - And How it Can Renew America" by Thomas Friedman - A Book review and discussion with Christopher Silva. If you have read the book, great, if not, do not worry, just come and enjoy the discussion.

Everyone conscious of and concerned about environmental matters in Qatar is welcome and encouraged to come. Please tell others, bring a neighbor and carpool if possible.
