finger printing
I am terminated by the company just after 2-1/2 months of stay here in Qatar, I am sponsored by the company. I have taken my medical and finger printing already, but still has no labor card. If this is the case if another company wants to employ me is it possible to do so. Or do I have to go back to my country philippines. Do I have a ban when I comeback.

Hi Friends,
I am an Indian, new to Qatar.
Thrice I had been to different places for finger printing but all the times print is not clear, as my hands are soft.
I have seen similar issues faced by others. Can anyone PLEASE help and advice as what do to resolve this.
Thank you

Getting a Canadian Police Clearance
By initiator on Mon, 01/02/2010 - 9:38amHello all,
I am a Canadian who recently got a job offer from Qatar. Getting a police clearance from RCMP is a lengthy procedure which involves finger printing. My visa would get delayed for at least two months if I adopt that route. I was wondering if anyone knows if the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Qatari embassy in United States would attest a local police clearance report (much easier to get and does not involve finger printing)?
Thanks!

Finger Printing
By kamranhussainsh... on Mon, 25/01/2010 - 6:52pmHi,
I am new in Doha and 1 month back my wife also joined me here..We are facing the hard time with her finger printing..She has very thin lines and CID people are not passing the scan.. We have gone through this process 3 times and still not approved.. Now they have asked her to apply olive oil and come back after 1 week.. I am worried if this scanning is not approved then what happens?
what are the maximum number of chances for this scanning process and Is there any other process to get the RP if finger print is not passed.
Regards,
Kamran
Hi all!
I have cleared my Medical, and done the finger printing procedure at Azizia. I have asked the person, who has taken my printing, whether they got it correctly or not. He informed me that he got it correctly.
After one week, my PRO went to the emigration office to stamp my visa and they have told him that my finger printing is not updated in the system.
So, I went to Aziza to give another try for taking the finger print. I also asked them, why the first time attempt is not updated in the system and then they have asked me to come with the PRO to give the explanation.

I was ask by my new prospect employer to get CID clearance by my own.Can anyone, can give me direction to go there and how to process.
Thank you.

HI Friends,
My wife's medical is done last week, but i checked on internet the remark is still the same like it was before in red color written in arabic, I asked one of my friend who knows arabic, he said it is mentioned that this visa is not related to the sponsor, so i called the medical commission dept , but they are telling me to go for finger printing.
I want to know if I need to take any form typed to go for finger printing.
I also want to know the timings for finger printing on Thursday and also the location of the finger printing dept.
Thank you.

Any ceiling on maximum no. of finger printing
By anand_makkar75 on Mon, 16/11/2009 - 12:07pmHi
I need to undergo finger printing for 3rd time. I am not sure about the problem.
But is there any ceiling on maximum no. of fingerprinting? In case this is not successful thru their scanning machines, Is there any other alternative like manual ink prints (good old way)?
Thanks for replies in advance

Hep B Problem
By botheredhubby on Fri, 23/10/2009 - 12:58amJust would like to share an experience regarding Hep B test. Ive been working in Doha for 3 years now and eventhough Im in the Medical field I got scared bringing my wife here for good because of her medical condition....she's Hep B positive.
Thought it will be the end of everything. Dreams started to shatter. Hopes grew dim. Dont know where to find answer to my querries til I found QL forum. Ive read through lots of thread regarding similar medical conditions and I never felt alone as I read every entry.
Because of this new information coming from people with first hand experience- I gained momentum to pursue or try to bring my wife here for a visit.
