Fabio Capello praised the “fantastic” character of John Terry after England came from behind to beat Egypt 3-1 at Wembley on a night when the majority of fans showed their support for the deposed captain.

That was close for a while, I thought that the corniche would be blocked again at one point.
Considering that Wembley is the home of English football the pitch is a disgrace, saying that it didn't bother the Egyptians in the first half, not really a convincing performance for a team that has world cup aspirations!

Al Jazeera Sport will broadcast the World Cup in South Africa in 3D from June 11 to July 11 in conjunction with FIFA.The sports network is in the process of building two 3G (3Gbps) studios that are designed to facilitate better transmission of HD 1080p and 3D signals.

Subscribers will have to pay an extra charge on their existing subscriptions to view the channels in 3D, according to Khalifi Bin Nasser Al Ghanim, director general of Al Jazeera Sport.

The 2010 World Cup will also be broadcast by Al Jazeera Sport in HD via satellite.

Al Jazeera Sport has been one of the most profitable divisions of Al Jazeera Network and recently made several technical and business investments.

I have Showtime but there doesn't seem to be any coverage of the Grand Prix. I think I saw the Moto GP on one channel last year when I first arrived but can't remember which one. I have Showtime but can also get Al Jazera card if neccessary but not sure if they cover GP as their website does not tell you. Alternatively is there a dependable internet site that anyone knows about that guarantees good coverage of the GP's? Whilst on the same subject does anyone know whether Showtime will be covering the World Cup this summer or do I need to make alternative arrangements? thanks

Pakistan has knocked out India from U-19 Cricket World Cup Quarter-finals.

Match was delayed because of rain, and match was reduced to 23 over. India playing first could score only 114. All Pakistani bowlers bowled brilliantly and never let Indians settle down; Indians kept struggling till the end.

In response Pakistan chased required score in the last over. It was excellent match performance from both sides, but at last Pakistan Qualify for the Semi-finals and India is out of U-19 World Cup
