Here's what is happening in India :

The two Ambani brothers can buy 100 percent of every company listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and would still be left with $30 billion to spare. The four richest Indians can buy up all goods and services produced over a year by 169 million Pakistanis and still be left with $60 billion to spare. The four richest Indians are now richer than the forty richest Chinese.

In November, Bombay Stock Exchange's benchmark Sensex flirted with 20,000 points. As a consequence, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries became a $100 bill ion company (the entire KSE is capitalized at $65 billion). Mukesh owns 48 percent of Reliance.

Twenty-five thousand years ago, haplogroup R2 characterized by genetic marker M124 arose in southern Central Asia. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also known as Ash is often named amongst the most glamorous women in the world. She was crowned Miss World in the year 1994. After winning the Miss World title, she became one of the most popular stars in the Indian film industry. Ash is also referred to as the Queen of Bollywood. Through the years, Aishwarya Rai has been nominated for and received several national and international awards. She began her international career making an appearance in Bride & Prejudice and then grabbed a role in Pink Panther in 2008 to share screen space with Steve Martin. The gorgeous actress and brand ambassador of L'Oreal attended the opening night of the 62nd Cannes Film Festival.

Washington: Two dozen Indians made it to the Forbes list of "World's Richest" with four of them among the top 10, as Warren Buffett dethroned Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, who held the top slot for 13 straight years.

Steel czar Lakshmi Mittal, heading the world's largest steelmaker ArcelorMittal, is in the fourth place with a personal fortune of $45 billion. A long-time resident of London, he is also Europe's richest resident, notes the US business magazine.

Next comes Mukesh Ambani, "Asia's richest resident, who heads petrochemicals giant Reliance Industries, India's most valuable company by market cap" with $43 billion.
